Paul Stover is an amazing man and teacher. I took a couple classes from him and he has a passion for the subjects he teaches and also truly cares about his students. The people that said he said negative things about them probably have thin skin and complain about every teacher they've ever had.

Paul Stover has never worked as a journalist, nor have any of his photos ever been in a newspaper. Why he's teaching photojournalism is beyond me. He lectures directly from the textbooks and doesn't know the material. I was VERY disappointed.

paul was a good teacher, he gave out interesting projects and if you attended class or the labs he was very helpful and if you had a good attitude and participated he liked you. But be careful of crossing him or being a smartass because he is not shy about getting up in your face and can sometimes be a pain. I liked his class, i would recommend it.

Paul is a great teacher. He makes the class into a ongoing (hate to say it) but rant about how the media is corrupting and racially dividing this country. Hes passionate about the subject and he knows what he is talking about. If you do not appriciate his unorthodox style then you are looking for some mundane professor. EVERYONE SHOULD TAKE IT,

Journ21 Let's be honest here. Anyone can get an A in the class unless you're a total stoner or moron. The exams are take home and there are only 2 short opinion papers to write. The kids that take this class are the bottom of the barrel of acedemic excellence here at Cabrillo. Easy A!!!

He is an extremely bias grader. My friend did less than I did in the class and received an A because she sucked up to him. He did not like me because I had opposing view points and went so far as to call me an "idiot" in from of the class. I got As & Bs on all assign. and still got a C in the class. He's ignorant about the topic he teaches.

Paul is a very interesting person with a lot of things to say. I genuinely like him and wish that he was just some cool older dude that I met at a coffeeshop, rather than my professor. As a professor he is condescending and opinionated. If you take his class, make sure to participate, or else you'll aggrivate the hell out of him.

Paul Stover is clearly an enthusiastic teacher, but it always seemed that he wasn't too psyched about teaching mass comm. He always lectured from the book, which gets very boring. Also, he sometimes gets in a bad mood and lets it show, which isn't too professional. I think that, if it is a subject he cares about, he could be a good teacher.

I cannot stand this guy! He always gets off in his little tangents and I basically haven't learned a thing. I learned waaaaaay more by myself from reading my textbook than from his class. I thought the other ratings were exaggerating before I took Mass Comm, but I can definitely see they're right! Waaaaaaatch out, folks!
