I took this class this Fall. It was my favorite class. It was not easy, you need to work, but no more than like 3-4 hours a week, maybe like 5 hours sometimes when it is project or exams time. Professor is amazing, he makes you feel good and more confident. The lectures are very good organized, not boring (he uses funny videos from YouTube).

Paul is a great professor, and a stand-up guy. By far, the most intelligent and experienced person in the management field. The things you learn in his Principles of Management can be applied to not only a career in management, but also in your daily life. Take this class, you will not regret it.

Prof. Thornton is GREAT. Wrote his own book so its easy to understand, homework every night is SUPER easy, and exams are all straight from the book and notes. Uses powerpoint and videos to teach, and is an all around great guy. Outline given on syllabus for whole semester, so you'll never miss anything. He wants you to succeed.

Thornton is a great professor! His class is engaging & he switches up his teaching method often so everyone can learn. Honestly, if you participate and take notes you will pass this class. This by far, was my favorite class this semester. He is also real and understanding that life happens so always keep in the loop if you you have an issue.

Paul Thornton did a great job balancing lecturing and business guest. He was hard on us but fair. I would recommend him to other students. He did a great job with helping understand the material. He had us work as group. He really knows what it takes to be a leader. I never knew a person that devoted so much time to learn about successful leaders.

Professor Paul Thornton is a very good professor. His lectures are very helpful along with the short videos I've watched in class. There are very helpful tips on management, mentoring, customer service, stage presence, coaching, mission, vision, values, and more. There are a lot of assigned group discussions and team work. From the beginning this was by far my favorite class this semester. It wasn't easy and Iv'e never managed. The reason why this was my favorite class was because the way it was taught and how amazing the professor was. It was my hardest class but the one I looked forward to. First of all he is the author of his own book, so that was a great start of motivation for me. He is very well put together, very organized and just a great teacher. I would remember his name more likely than other teachers, his confidence shows and that's what made me believe in him. I would definitely recommend him to others. Great guy!!!

Professor Thornton's class is informative, very interactive and useful, I highly recommend it to anyone who is considering it. While I may not have been a big fan of the group projects, I will admit that they did a lot towards helping me work with people who had different degrees of responsibility. The group projects are life!

This is really a most useful and comfortable course that I used to participate in. Each of lesson that professor Thornton brings is a new and interesting experience for you. I didn't have any pressure when going to class. Moreover, after course I've made a lot of new friends thanks to attending to discussions in class and team projects.

Amazing professor! Even if your major doesn't require this course, it is useful in your everyday life too. This course is very beneficial and the work you put into the class you'll see it through not only your grades but through day to day life applying these concepts you'll learn. The class is mainly taught through lectures. These lectures are based on the course book, which in itself is very useful. Professor Thornton tries to use different teaching styles while lecturing to make it interesting. There are three to four tests in a semester which are group, take-home, or in class. I loved this class! It's one of those classes that you looked forward to going to. Professor Thornton wants to see his students succeed & you feel that energy throughout the classroom.
