Dr. Traudt is highly respected in his field. This class is not an easy A and you need to be on top of your work in order to get a good grade. I personally believe he grades too hard for a 101 course and that some of the criteria is not clear.

Only 5 projects they aren't hard but they grade hard. 5 exams open book. He also gives all the exam questions out that will be used, you can look up the answers and use that paper on the test.

The textbook is highly mandatory. We use it mainly towards exams and quizzes on the chapters read every time you come to lecture. Overall, he is a good teacher. I love the fact that he sends weekly emails on Sunday morning to keep you ready for the upcoming week. Read and pay attention to detail especially when doing your projects.

Terrible! If you miss the lectures, good luck passing. He gives quizzes that count as "participation" every week. VERY unforgiving and not understanding. Office hours seems as if you are bothering him. Too bad he is the only professor who teaches this class. I didn't learn anything except how to look for answers in my textbook for the study guides

You'll probably have to take him. The online section was literally just fill-in-the-blank sentences from the book, just to make sure you've been reading. It was easy, but it was time-consuming busywork. There was an essay too, but it too felt like busywork. The class would have been infinitely easier if I had just paid for an electronic textbook.

Dr. Traudt does things his way, which means it's Traudt's way or the right way. He does not like to be called, lashes out and retaliates citing inapplicable code violations that he accuses his accuser of. He has a real problem admitting when he is wrong and will turn the table to try to call the asserter wrong. Beware.

Traudt is a great professor! I only recommend him if you're looking to LEARN, not to slack off or get an easy A. He readily helps the students who try and can tell if you're there just to graduate/pass. He has no problem calling anyone out randomly. He's really down to earth and one of my favorite professors, just a hard grader.

Stay away from this class. You work on one group project the entire semester, so it's not work-heavy, but it's annoying. He is super arrogant and corrects you when you're not even wrong half of the time. He has no problem calling you out for no reason either. Worst class I have ever taken in my five years at UNLV.

He is one of the most knowledgeable professors at UNLV in my opinion. He takes a real world approach to his teaching methods, which is awesome. He gives extra credit opportunities, and is a fair grader. If you're lazy or you don't show up to class, you will NOT do well in his class, be prepared to work and you'll be fine. Awesome guy.

Dr. Traudt is an amazing professor. He is very knowledgeable and wants his students to succeed. He does give out some heavy criticism at times, but it isn't with ill intentions. He is very, very strict on attendance so make sure to come to class! I enjoyed the practical approach to most of the assignments. Generous grading if you participate.

Required to read book, but this wasnt an issue I really enjoyed the subject. Tests are easy if you do the reading a& he has helpful study guides. The only negative-assignments could've been explained in alot less words to make it easy to understand. He wasnt that nice when I wanted to clarify a requirement for a paper. but I recommend!

I loved Dr. Traudt's 475 class! Your grade in this class is based on weekly quizzes coming from readings from the Wall Street Journal, and 4 group powerpoint presentations. He is a tough grader on the presentations, but he is very clear as to what he wants.Don't take class if you don't like working in groups.

Fun interactive class. No book, no tests. Just group presentations and weekly current event quizes(5 T/F). Put in a group and get a designated country and only gather info for that country. He was super clear on what he wanted for each presentation. Sucks to have slackers in your group however. They will bring your grade down. Loved the class tho!

Does not grade based on your work, grades according to whether he likes you or not. Useless professor, forces you to teach yourself the material via one long, ridiculous, group project. Does not care about students. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Online class- really easy. Just read and fill out the study guide. Teacher is pretty cool. Discussions were more tricky. He grades really hard and if you blow it off it will hurt you in the end. Exams are straight from the text book.

Dr. Traudt is amazing! I took his online course & loved it! The video lectures were interesting & to-the-point and the readings were fascinating. I LOVED this class! There were 5 exams, no final, 1 short essay, 1 discussion. That's it! He even gives you a bank of possible exam ?s ahead of time so you can look up the answers in your readings! :)

I LOVE DR. TRAUDT!!!! He is honestly the best professor I have ever had. I was lucky to have a really small class with him, which made it an awesome environment for discussion and a great way to learn. Take any class you can with him. I think it goes to say that any class takes effort to get anything out of it, but honestly, he's an awesome prof.
