Even though the course was called " Fundamentals of Programming" he directly dived into advanced stuff from his first lecture without going over any of the basics. Gives a lot of Assignments and work without actually how or what to do.

Really enjoyed his lectures. He will bounce around content wise to fit everyones skill level to you learn something no matter what. He goes off on tangents a bit but it is often actually interesting.

I loved this class he was my favourite teacher ever. I have never been so satisfied while learning c++ in my life. He was such a good teacher i barely had to learn this course on my own after class to be prepared for the midterm and exam.

Paul Ward is the worst teacher I have ever had in all my years of schooling he is boring, does not teach, and goes so off topic that you will just be sitting there every single class going like what the heck is going on, even though you have prior programming experience and has learned the current topic before.

He comes off as a pretty arrogant individual despite his lack of ability to display his competency. Anyways, every set of slides he presents is another professor's work (which is totally fine). However, he'd be reading the slides for the very first time as he was presenting them to the class and would not be able to understand and drift off topic..

This guy has no idea what he's doing. There's no structure, rhyme or reason to the course or the way he teaches. Tries too hard to be funny, but most of his jokes fall flat or are just straight up inappropriate. Because of his inability to stay on topic or be organized in any way his lectures are impossible to follow. Don't even bother.
