Comment:

He is a really good professor, but the class is very difficult. You should plan your schedule around this class; if it's at the top of your priority you will be fine, but if you're taking a lot of hard classes you will struggle. Make sure to do the homework and study for the quizzes. The exams are pretty similar to both hw and quizzes.

Great professor. Very informative and complete lectures. Pay attention and TAKE GOOD NOTES. Those notes will be your best friend when completing homework or studying for exams/quizzes. Also, please DO NOT skip class. That is adding unnecessary stress to yourself.

Comment:

Attelle was not my first choice for DiffyEq and he definitely wasn't the easiest professor. However, he is very good at explaining how to solve problems efficiently. Quizzes are based off homework and his tests are exactly from is review guide. Occasionally when I got confused, the book helped clear some clerical issues. Overall, Attelle is great.

Fantastic! Neat, organized, precise, articulate, polite, clear. Lots of webassign hw, but well aligned to lecture. You can get help at Arc from Raj. Quizzes and tests are easier than hw and fairly represent what was studied. His review sessions are spot on. His lecture pace is brisk, so read ahead & pay attention.

Comment:

Attelle as an amazing understanding of math and how to communicate that. His class is tough because he puts the students in a position where they are going to learn a lot of material (about a chapter or two more than other sections). He taught me methods to solve problems in more efficient ways than the textbook had.

Attelle is a good professor, if you need to get an A in the course. It's pretty clear what he wants. He does also teach you HOW TO solve a problem, but unfortunately, he usually doesn't go deep enough to explain why something is true. We mostly talk about HOW TO in his class, and rarely WHY.

Honestly isn't difficult. Just study the homework problems (esp based off class notes). HW can be hard, but he only gives the class taught problems on tests, and its very straightforward. Just study notes before tests and you'll ace it. Don't focus on having a 'fun' or good time in class . He's doesn't call on people and teaches well. Study A

Math 333 material may seem very abstract, but the class is VERY straightforward. I hate proofs, and thankfully his whole class was basically just arithmetic and calc with imaginary number i instead of the usual x or y variable. He only gives the easy class problems on tests, so if you just study hard you can get an A. The last chapter hard, study!

Professor Attelle has a thick accent that makes him difficult to understand. His writing is not very neat and readable. He is easily annoyed if you ask for clarification. There are weekly quizzes and two midterms. if you study on your own and understand the material, you can get a good grade but don't expect much help from him. Poor office hours.

He is hands down the best math instructor I have had in my entire academic career. Math is not my strongest suit, but I feel for the first time that I actually understand the material due to the way in which he presents it. Quiz problems and tests are straight from the notes, that's all you need!

The examples in class make sense. You follow along, write it all down, and just when you think you've got it, you get blindsided by the homework, quizzes, and tests. The examples make sense, but the material is confusing.

Do not take Attelle if you do not study a lot on your own. His classes are very boring, but do not be tempted fall asleep in class or skip it entirely, because no matter how much you study for a test (which is every week by the way)he will find a way to fail you because he assumes you have lost interest in the class.

VERY good math teacher. The material isn't super easy but he teaches exactly what you need to know. Just write down everything he writes down and it'll be exactly whats on the quizzes and tests. He WILL make you feel dumb if you ask an even remotely dumb question. But otherwise, very good!

By far the best math lecturer I have ever had, and I've been lucky enough to have some good ones. Homework and quizzes are all geared for the exams, plus he gives out practice problems for the exams which actually helps save study time. Great class. "The solution is NOT GERMAINE!"

Dr.Attle is the best professor I've had for math. If you're an engineering major, take his class. He has a knack for making ideas really simple. His tests and quizzes are always related to what he covers in class. Think your question through before asking, though; if it's a poorly worded question he'll just dismiss it. EXCELLENT PROFESSOR

Professor Attele is an amazing professor who teaches the material to a T. There is a quiz every Wednesday, and there are 2 midterms. The quizzes are a little challenging but only cover a couple of sections. The exams are not as difficult as long as you stay on top of everything. Go to class, do homework study and you should get the grade you want
