This guy was a great prof, I am glad they called him out of retirement for this term. He is very intelligent and really gets the content through to you. Easy marker when it comes to papers, his exams are a little tougher. He's also hilarious.

A guy with a good sense of humour. Not afraid to probe discussion about more complex or controversial philosophical topics. Also, makes it very clear from the start that he is unfazed by anyone else's opinions. Great teacher to have for philosophy.

Paul was the best teacher I ever had. His poli sci classes were my favourite classes. He and I got along very well and he always made sure to say something that he knew would get me to raise my hand and debate. He was also very accommodating when I had some personal issues. I will always be grateful to Paul for being an amazing teacher.

Paul is overall a pretty good professor and I quite enjoyed taking classes with him. His one big weak spot is he can be very disorganized. This semester saw many classes cancelled on a whim, even after his duties as union negotiator ended, which was extremely annoying and frustrating. Otherwise, very knowledgable and fun prof.

When I was young i did not have the same educational opportunities, as most do today. Because of this, i felt I would not succeed! My professor has brought out something in me, in regards to learning that I never knew I had. He keeps me interested in philosophy and always wanting more. I dont always agree with him, but I respect him. Thank you!

Greatest prof I ever had, was always there for help, and made sure it was put in asense that you could understand. Had him on 9/11 and we just had a discussion about all the things related to it instead of working, really great guy.

A wonderful and effective teacher! I never thought I would enjoy political science and now it is something I am very interested in. Would definitly recommend taking his class to everyone and anyone. Paul accomplishes a steep feat, he makes political science engaging and never dull. Engaging and always full of energy, Paul's relevant wit shines a distinctive light on an often confusing mosaic of politics. Paul is not just a pretty face, he is smart, thoughtful, funny and quick-witted. Great teacher! Paul and Brent are what made attending N.I.C worthwhile. When I finish University I will give some credit to those guys for really providing an environment which made learning fun and interesting!
