"I wrote a paper about Frozen and Beyoncé and I got a good grade." You forgot to mention that in addition to your insipid paper topic, you also included a pile of feminazi SJW drivel because that is all what this prof. is about. Worthless, pedantic, authoritarian. She should move to North Korea.

Well structured online class. However, there are only a few points in the class so everything matters. Pay attention to her lectures and formatting instructions and you should be fine.

I've heard this class can be tedious in person, so this was a good option. No tests, just timed chapter quizzes each week for the lecture/reading. A couple easy assignments along the way, and a paper as the final. I would recommend this class if you are able to pace yourself and keep up with an online class because it really wasn't hard.

If you don't write the papers the way she wants you to, you'll fail. She brings cool things to watch to class, but it doesn't change the fact that she's a tough, confusing, and unspecific grader.

She's an ok professor. She brings in fun stuff to watch for your artifacts, but her grading criteria isn't clear. You only have 4 papers in the semester and participation points. I had to beg for a C because I couldn't figure out what she was asking for. I never get below a B on papers. She's openly biased with her views, making class uncomfortable

Dr. Nadler goes into detail when she is grading papers. She wants you to think way outside of the box to the point where you don't her flow. She is very helpful and if you ask questions she will most certainly help you out.

This course is boring and tough. The professor made it tolerable. She is helpful, kind, and provides great feedback. She will help you succeed if you reach out to her. This course sucks but she teaches it with enthusiasm and make its tolerable. I recommend taking her in person class. This course is tough but she will help you through it

Lol @ the sexist drivel on this site. Nadler is a fine professor whose no-distractions attitude is interpreted as pedantry by those too stupid or sexist to understand that. The class was engaging and anyone who takes it is capable of doing well if they reach out to Nadler or use the materials she's provided on blackboard.

Two papers and a presentation of the second paper. She lets you send her your papers before hand and will let you fix it and hand it in. GO TO CLASS! It's a 3 hour lecture and the longest we were ever there was 2. She lets you write about anything you want for the second paper and is honestly the best.

She is a great professor but a super tough grader. But, meet with her before the first paper is due-she tells you exactly what to write and how to do it well. Overall, if you follow her instructions and take advantage of her help you'll get an A. 10/10 would recomend

Paula Nadler is the best professor I have ever come across at GMU. She is very helpful. she will post the entire assignment on the blackboard you have to basically fill in the blanks. attendance is mandatory but I did a terrible job with my presentation she sent me a wonderful encouraging email and gave me an A that I definitely didn't deserve.

My favorite professor of that I have taken here at GMU. She is funny, smart, and cares about her students passing. She will work with you to make sure that your papers are done well. I wish she taught other classes here.

I don't understand these negative ratings at all. This was an awesome class! She lets you write about whatever you want! I wrote a paper about Frozen and Beyoncé and I got a good grade. She is so very willing to go above and beyond to make sure you understand the grading requirements and succeed. Take her, it's great.

Great teacher, best I have had at Mason. She is extremely tough, but I have learned so much from her. Her motto is "you're as good as your final product". So work hard, learn from your mistakes, and you will be fine!

I think the reviews were harsh. Prof. Nadler makes the best of the long, evening class. Most of the time we left early, IF everyone stayed on task. She makes the class interesting by showing a lot of clips that apply to what we are learning. Two papers and a presentation. She is extremely helpful. I'm glad I took the class.

This class and professor are both horribly vague, dull, and pointless. Why it is a required course is beyond me. Just power through it.

Dr. Nadler is one of the best COMM 300 professors out there! The way she explains the methods are very clear, and she accompanies each one with each fun activity! She is also very helpful to anyone. 2 papers only, with a final presentation and a rather unusual final exam. Take her for the night class; I guarantee you that it will be fun!
