Penny is literally my fave professor here. She cares so much about chemistry and really wants you to understand the material as well as she does. Questions are always welcome. She honestly made this whole class so much fun and interesting. As long as you keep up with the homework and follow along in lecture for the most part, this class is a breeze

Comment:

Easily the best professor at SHU. Take her for chemistry. She is extremely straightfoward with her lectures. Makes chemistry easy to remember. Always available in and out of office hours and answers emails immediately. Practice tests are replicas of test format. If you can't take her, still go to her for help, she is always happy to teach!!

BEST TEACHER!! She is quite goofy and really loves chemistry. She is very entertaining and gives you lots of mnemonics and other ways to memorize information (that other professors don't show their classes). She is also very very helpful. If you are taking chemistry, you 100% should try and get her to be your professor!

Amazing professor. Clearly explains her notes. Tests and quizzes aren't that bad. If you put in the work and study you will be fine. Gives an online hw assignment after every class. Fully prepares you for the ACS exam and gives good study guides for the ACS. She does use the full class period though, you will NEVER get out of class early.

She is very perky and passionate about the subject. Her lectures get kind of boring because she just reads off the powerpoint but she really likes what she does. She wants you to do well, the grades are mainly based off of online quizzes which you can take as many times as you want and then reading assignments. I literally have an 98 in the class.

Definitely take her for gen chem, you will not have a problem at all. Do the practice tests, as they are just like her tests. Her class always does the best out of all the other classes. Best teacher for chemistry. Quirky and weird, but very good professor
