Penny is a very nice lady, but her class is just bad. She's not at all well-versed with Blackboard, and while I usually prefer that teachers use it, I wish she wouldn't. She once showed up to class 25 minutes late and took points away from everyone who left. She is good about staying on topic but doesn't teach the topic well. Avoid her if you can!

Great Prof. Loves her subject matter. She just wants you to be able to think critically about the subject. There is no black and white! Looooot's of grey though.

Penny is very energetic and passionate about what she is teaching. If you are a Poli Sci major, you should be fine. As a PR or communications major, you will get lost in the "law lingo". She doesn't really explain what she's talking about and tends to ramble about her own opinions and beliefs. I feel like I have not learned anything in her class.

Doctor Summers is the BEST. Stay focused and speak in class. She remembers who stays engaged. Be knowlageable and she will make you feel like you are on her level.

Penny loves what she teaches and it is very apparent. She builds good rapport with the students and is willing to help. Having said the positives, she is very scatterbrained and doesn't stay on topic. She voices a lot of opiions but never actual information. Her tests are hard and since they are essay form take forever! Easy grader occassionaly

I think the LAW class was pretty easy. At first glance, the tests appear very hard - you will fill an entire bluebook - but she's a very easy grader. And she allows you to use your notes during exams. I got an A without studying much at all.

SOOOO HARD!!! I wouldn't have taken this class if I didn't have to. Tried to go into it with an open mind but was worse than I expected. Always showed up late, took forever grading tests, had more excuses than a student, notes were sketchy, got off topic a lot, tooooons of info and only a select amount is used on all essay tests. Good Luck!ha

She's a GREAT teacher with a world of information. She knows her stuff and she knows what she's talking about. Her tests are HARD - but you just have to pay attention in class and take great notes. I made an A in the class, but I worked hard for it.

I was scared to death to take this class, but it turnedo out all right. She is hard but you learn so much. You have to earn your grade. Attendance is a must, I don't know how you could pass if you don't show up. She is funny and makes the subject interesting. I wish there was a law II!

DO NOT TAKE THIS TEACHER!!! HER ASSIGNMENTS ARE REALLY EASY AND ALL THE NOTES ARE ON POWERPOINT. THE BAD PART IS THAT ALL OF HER TESTS WERE ONLINE AND TAKE ABOUT 2 HOURS AND HALF THE INFORMATION ISNT EVEN IN THE BOOK OR NOTES OR TALKED ABOUT IN CLASS. HORRIBLE!

Penny is EXTREMELY difficult because her exams are entirely blue book and they are very subjective based on showing what you've learned. Don't BUY THE BOOK!! You won't need it. She teaches solely from lecture notes and PWPT. Be prepared to get off topic.. daily and throw out your syllabus-worthl
