Online quizzes are ridiculous i suggest working with a group on the online quizzes. Make sure you go to every class even on you absolute worst, if not just make sure you have a note because it will mess up your grade. With papers make sure you go above and beyond because the grading is weird.

Mandik was freakin awesome. Every class I left questioning whether or not I'm real. Really interesting reads however be prepared to actually have to think critically and create a solid argument for your ideas on Space and Time (you're wrong already). I would absolutely take this class again because it was so interesting. You will read a lot.

He's great! Loved every class, it's extremely interactive and he makes you want to participate. He rarely lectures so the class is a big group discussion, but when we're not debating we're watching videos of philosophy cartoons. He makes the more complicated points of philosophy easy to understand so you breeze through the quizzes and papers.

I think that a 2 year old would be able to pass his class. So easy, I would take it again. It is fun, time flies by, and he is funny. He is a really great person, he once let us go at 10:59 for the 11am class. SUCH A JOKE, but so worth taking. Midterm and Final were take home. It has been more work typing this review than it was taking his course.

Amazing professor! Had no interest in philosophy prior to this course, but he's hilarious and definitely makes the class fun and interesting. I definitely recommend taking him and one of his classes! There's 2 exams, 2 quizzes and 7 papers. His test questions come directly from the quizzes & lecture notes, so show up, take notes and you'll get an A

Mandik is the man. I totally want to marry a man just like him. I forget that I am in school when I'm in his class, it is more like a stand up comedy act with a few papers and tests here and there. I'm definitely taking as many of his courses as I possibly can. His lessons are never boring and he shows loads of interesting videos in class.

Professor Mandik is the best professor I have ever had. He is a great example of a what a professor should be like. He is enthusiastic about his subject matter, and incredibly brilliant! You will laugh a lot in his course and learn a lot!

extremly nice and makes the class very fun. The homeworks are easy if you understand, but he'll let you redo them if you don't do well on them. offers plenty of oppertunities for extra credit. tests are only 15 questions, very easy, multpal/true or false questions. some questions on exams appear in class assignments. makes the class very intresting

He is one of the absolute best teachers I ever had. I always had somewhat of an interest in Philosophy but once being a part of his class, I have fallen in love with the department and subject matter. He is very helpful. There is no way you can fail his class if you show up pay attention and do the homework. Thanks to him, I joined the department

VERY EASY. One homework for every chapter which can be redone indefinitely for a perfect grade and can be handed in late without penalty. Quizzes are straight from the slides, so write down everything from the slides. Exams are straight from the quizzes and anything from the slides since the most recent quiz. Makes class very interesting.

I love him. He is NOT obnoxious. His methods and procedures ARE unorthodox. So what?! THAT'S INTERESTING. I don't remember if he gave out extra credit or not but you could redo your assignments if you don't like your grade. So you don't need extra credit. He is smart and funny. AND he is cute if you like beards and smart funny guys. Take him!

Funny professor in a twisted kind of way. Don't take him if you can't take a God joke (first day before he introduced himself, he said, God doesn't exist, prove me wrong). his quizes are complex and weirdly worded purposely to make you think. Take him if you want to work or if you are interested in Phil, if you don't, get out of this university.
