GREAT professor. Definitely the best I've ever had at Talbot. Challenging, intelligent, passionate about teaching, not afraid of talking about "liberal" theology (although he is certainly a conservative evangelical - in a good way!). I am frankly flabbergasted that Talbot wouldn't have him come back... That was their biggest 2005 mistake.

Absolutely my favorite professor ever, brilliant to the point of genius. He really challenged me to step up to the plate and raised the bar for scholarly excellence. He is meticulous in his preparation for class, and you can see it in the lesson. He also introduces original thought and new perspective into what could otherwise be a staid subject.

Unbelievably hard. Heard that he was too easy and stepped up the curriculcum. I got straight A's in high school and took AP classes and this was out of my league.

I really liked his class. He is a smart man. Sometimes though the class didn't understand what he was trying to sya..I always got it but maybe he could have stated things in a way that wouldn't cause confusion. Overall I liked him and the class.
