One of the best profs I ever had. Really improved my thinking and writing. I was so lucky to have him for freshmen studies. Don't go to class if you haven't read the assignment carefully, with 13 students sitting in a circle for 70 minutes, he will know if you really read Plato's Republic.

This man is an eccentric genius, and probably the best professor I had at Lawrence. Yes he would babble off the wall and carry on about (seemingly) nonsense rants... but if you paid attention he would blow you away with one profound statement. He was there to teach only those that really wanted to LEARN. Love and miss you Mr. Fritzell.

He was terrible. The guy actually lied to me, LU, and the faculty. He is a reproachful, awful person. He made no sense in class, talked jibberish, read from a pile of ancient notes, and left the class a-wondering. A bad professor and a bad person.
