This guy certainly seems to know his stuff. He does a good job at raising the expectations for class presentations, but then when grading not being irrational in what he ultimately expects. Makes class enjoyable and you leave his course feeling more confident speaking publicly than you did when entering.

Very good teacher. As long as you show up to class on the day of the speech and try at all you will easily pass. If you don't show up on the day a speech is due you get a 0 and can't make it up. Overall a fair grader and a nice guy.

Nowak was my first professor and i liked him alot! nice guy, 3 presentations, fun topics. Grades a little on the tougher side, but fairly. i definetly reccomend him for this class!

This guy humiliated a girl in front of the entire class, and continued as she started to cry. It was rough to watch. Not only that, he isn't the fairest grader in my opinion. Even so its an easy class. Participate minimally and keep a low profile and you will do fine.

Good prof, easy and fair grader. You get 3 speeches and 3 exams. The speeches are at the 3rd grade level, so unless you have major public speaking phobias you should be fine. The 1st speech only had to be 1min, and the last two only had to be b/t 3-4. I had a hard time saying TOO much lol. good class esp considering some of the loonies out there!

Just a great person! Fair grader. Just come to classes, read the chapters or review your notes before the exams(he goes over all the materials in class), prepare and you'll do fine. The class is not hard at all, mainly because he puts in his 110% effort to ensure that all material is covered and you understand everything. Totally recommend him!

its my only 8:30 class & if he was not the teacher i would not be motivated to get up that early and walk all the way to ridgeway. exams are easy, & he is funny. goes over the chapter in class so the only homework that you need to do are the speeches and those are fun to write. highly reccomend it!
