AWESOME lecturer. Very charismatic and funny. Performances were required for this class and he would offer to meet outside of class to practice. Always expected more out of your papers which is a good thing. Loves to talk about anything and he makes jokes that are funny but you will only get them if you are paying attention. So do it!

Good Professor. Used books heavily, so be sure to have them. Also, take good notes and answer exam questions prior to the exam. As long as you do the work and pay attention, you will be fine. Overall, I liked him and thought that he was a pretty decent professor. I would take him again

Attendance, listening, participation are the keys to an A. He was pretty interesting in presenting his lessons. Make sure you actually read the assignments (which aren't difficult or too much) and take plenty of notes. Also, go to class. It's as simple as that. I would take him again.

The above comments about R-J being rude, your having to be Lutheran to like the class, him being rude to people who disagree, etc., are entirely false. I have very different beliefs from him and was not Lutheran when I had him, and he courteously listened to my thoughts. You just have to have BACK-UP for what you say - think it out first!

he rude if you dont agree with him, and if you question his interpretations of the bible he makes you sound compeltely stupid. He's fake- tells you he wants you to speak up but then is hateful when you do. He tests are ridiculuous- be sure to memorize the bible. DONT TAKE THIS GUY

I LOVED THIS GUY!!! He was a great teacher, and excellent storyteller! And I love the Green Bay Packers so I had a bit of a head start *wink* hehehe...but yeah I definitely recommend him!
