Very tough, Very little material actually taught during class. Hard to follow. Expects you already know everything and often talks down to you like you are an idiot. Would not recommend. Test are very difficult.

Took Prof. Bice in a night class only option, would recommend to everyone do everything you can to avoid him as a teacher, tests were extremely difficult, had 2 right answers had to pick the best one, if you have no choice take this guy, expect many stories about how great republicans are and how amazing he is at making money. Horrible professor

He loves talking about how good he is at life, and how you will probably fail in yours. He teaches you alternate ways to learn the material which is helpful. But the exams are VERY hard.

Bice was the worst professor I have ever had. Completely self taught course. Random attendance is taken, but going to class really is pointless because he doesn't teach you anything. Tests are really hard unless you're an accounting major and know it all or spends hours and hours teaching yourself the concepts. Good luck if you have to take him!

Read the book during class. He tells random stories that have nothing to do with whe you're learning. First two tests are more on terminology than problems. Random attendence. 5 exams, but you only have to take 4 if you do well. But no in class work or anything else graded. So tests are everything.

He was a fairly tough professor and going to class is only really useful right before the tests, but overall i liked him. Random attendance throughout the semester, usually fridays. I did alright on the tests but it required studying since i never did homework. If you do the homework you will be fine.

I thought his class was very easy. I took the night class so I never paid attention to anything he was saying other than some interesting stuff that he talks about and got an AB. Prolly would've gotten an A if I studied for my first exam...

Everyone thinks he is so hard, and he is, but I think he is a good teacher. He teaches the majority of the material he puts on tests, and the rest is in the book. I liked going to class actually, because he relates everything to real life situations and teaches you about the real life aspects of business. Study hard and go to class...A or B

He loves to talk about himself and his opinions abut everything under the sun. He was semi-helpful with only about 1/4 of the stuff he expects you to know for tests. Read the book and do the practice problems and you'll do ok. He does random attendance so you have to go to class even if it doesnt help you at all.

Don't think about taking this prof. He teaches you more about capitalism than accounting... Tests come straight from the book. So while he was telling stories (he tells many) that didn't apply to the tests, I read the book in class... Very arrogant. He told the class he could point out which people in his class that would not succeed! Horrible Prof

If you don't want to work hard this isn't the class for you. Otherwise tests are representative of material and he is a fair grader. Good guy, a little arrogant. "I have ten expensive cars, snomobiles and boats...I don't want to go to the grave with ten million dollars"

Takes randome attendence. Only talks about accounting less than half the time, he is more interested in teaching his capalist ideas. Class is almost not helpful at all, a lot of self teaching. Test are all about the problems in the chapters, would recomend this teacher only if good at self teaching.

NOT AN EASY PROFESSOR! if you dont have the time to work your ass off dont take him. his classes are worthless he just babbles about random stuff but he takes attendance. you get a lot of fridays off after tests but the tests are very very hard. know the material backwards and forwards and you'll pry pull off a B. he does curve tests which helps

he wasn't clear on anything- confusing, rambling- pretty much the worst qualities a professor teaching something difficult like accounting could be. I learned more from reading the book on my own time. Exams are horrible- you get tested on things you never learn about. Hes pretty popmous in my opinion.

Desperately needs to get over self. Avoid this guy. Dresses like a monkey. Thinks that people think two ways: like a CPA or wrongly. Needs to stick to the subject and not Wal-Mart or McDonalds. I'll read The Economist if I want that info. Acts like he has never, ever been any where. Needs to get out more often.

Good gravy! You had better start studying now if you are wanting an A. I loved his business application stories but didn't teach concepts worth a wet bag of sand. One smart cookie! My favorite line of the entire class... "I ain't no damn socialist, I am a capitalist." Good Guy! I would recommend him but only if you come ready to work!

Well organized and overall helpful professor. Spends alot of time going over the homework that was assigned (which can be a good or bad thing). The tests tend to require a lot of studying, but taking the once-a-week section of this class doesn't help mathers either. Overall, I've had much worse professors; just be happy that he's personable.

Goes off on a lot of tangents in class. However, if you do the work, read the book, do the problems which he gives answers too, and use him as a resource when you have problems, you'll do fine. I barely study and pull off B's on the test no problem.
