History of List Civ. Once again, not an easy A. You must go to every single class and make sure you do the two book reviews, and study for the tests. However, the class is very interesting and Dr. Thomas is kind of funny and has some cool stories. Somewhat inappropriate at times.

I had him for Lost Civilizations. He knows his stuff! His tests, however, are way to long and you have to put exactly what he wants on the answers or you will get a bad grade. He is also very full of himself.

Not everything in life can be or should be easy. This class was demanding but my mind is better for it. Dr. Thomas is a professor of the old school who LOVES his material and communicationg that passion to his students.

Tough class, you have to go every time and even this its hard to study for. He doesnt tell you whats going to be on the exam so you kind of have to study everything and its alot of information he gives you. Very interesting but definately not an easy A. I suggest only taking it if you have to or your very interested in the subject.

If you take notes, pay attention, and give complete thoughtful answers you will do just quite well. You can't expect to do half assed on his exams and get a good grade. They take time and thoroughness.

Professor Thomas give an interesting lecture...but gives blue book exams in which he grades you down for almost no apparent reason. I would suggest taking this class if you are auditing classes and don't mind being low-balled when you do a good job on one of his exams. Not a good class to take.

This class is boo-koo. It's also hard, but Dr. T. is a goof-ball and will make you laugh the whole semester. He's a good teacher too, and you'll learn a lot. Be prepared to go to SI, ask ?'s, and work hard, and the class isn't too bad.
