developmental disabilities was a horrible class with a horrible prof. doesn't even teach! has students do presentations every week for 12 weeks. learned absolutely nothing. gives exam questions one week prior to exam so as you learn nothing there is nothing really to apply. pitiful.

Dr. Poulson was fair with grading, the class was very interesting considering I did not know anything about autism. She gave out the midterm and final a week before, so that we could study. This was for the summer session I, I do not know what she is like in the regular semesters.

Waste of time class. Students are expected to present the reading material every class session, basically just regurgitating exactly what they read. You only end up reading when you have an exam because she gives you the questions beforehand. I learned very little. She has her favorites and you can tell, PhD students.

Not nice, boring, and condescending. Grad students kiss up to her all day and she could care less about them. BUT, she gives the exam questions in advance and is pretty easy with grading. Just say what she wants to hear.

Cold, fake, emotionless, makes uncomfortable comments when she doesn't value someones question, self-absorbed, refers to herself in the third person.............. she's basically a tool.....wtih a doctoral degree

Incredible person! A font of knowledge and experience. Someone who is truly changing the world for the better. Fair exams; several essay questions are provided ahead of time, just prepare your answers. Personable and approachable. Highly recommended.

Exams are essays that we can prepare at home...pretty reasonable. She doesn't really lecture, rather it's the students that are teaching everyone. She designates everyone to a chapter and we have to present it to the whole class.
