Wish I could take Professor Longest for all my math requirements. Coolest math teacher ever. Comes across abrasive, but is actually a great teacher and person in general. Gives homework, but leaves it to you to work. Tests are thorough but concise. Feedback and review in-class is excellent. He's old school though, doesn't do email/texts.

Great Professor, great guy. He likes to get to know his students and treats them as a friend, not a student. I could not get the hang of algebra until I was fortunate enough to have a class with Professor Longest., suddenly every thing made sense. Very easy test makes it easy to pass the class.

If you are looking for an easy "A" then take this class. Little work is required; however, if you are looking forward to a career using mathematics such as engineering... RUN FAR AWAY. I took him for 0312 Intermediate Algebra and when I got to College level Algebra I was completely unprepared. This after having passed his class with a high A.
