DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS. It is so hard and SO boring, especially. Lectures were PAINFUL and the tests were ridiculous even though I studied really hard. Wilson is nice, but that's about it. I made a B in the class only because of an extra credit paper worth 15 percentage points added to your exam average. If you need a P credit, take OCE1001.

Don't take this class for an "easy" gen ed... It's HARD...his lectures are boring... he is very monotone... his tests are ridiculously hard. I definately would NOT recommend his class to anyone.

Eww...what a horrible teacher. His explanations are long, rambling, and boring. I could barely pay attention in class, and learned nothing by going to class. He made what I thought would be a really interesting subect ridiculously boring. I only managed to get an A by studying like mad outside of class.

Very nice man, but a horrible professor. Turned a "survey of astornomy" to a full-on lecture of physics and math, not good if ur not an ast major. I f-ed myself over&after studying hard, I still got a C. Really hard class, notes dont relate to tests, do the extra credit, it helps ALOT.

A nice guy, but boring as heck and very hard to follow. He turns what should be a fairly light survery course in to a brutal physics course. If you aren't an astronomy major, STAY AWAY. If you can manage to keep your eyes open in class, you still won't be able to follow what's going on. WICKED HARD

This professor is horrible!!Not only are his lectures excruciatingly long and boring, but his tests are amazingly difficult. Almost nothing on the tests come from lectures. I had to study countless hours from different outside sources just to get a B.

WARNING: DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS! I thought that Astronomy would be an easy Science Credit, it ended up being my hardest class all semester & I had to drop it b/c I was failing (& I have a 4.0. It's basically a physics course. His notes are so random & do not help u at all on exams. Worst Prof EVER!

I had him for a two hour lecture and it was all I could do to keep my head from plumitting to my desk. The tests (which by the way are the entirety of your grade) are incredibly difficult and the notes never make sense. Nice man, but he made an already difficult subject practically unbearable.

Not helpful, not interesting, not good at expressing himself...This class is not a survey of astronomy, it is a grueling physics/math course in which the notes are unintelligible and sporatic. Very close minded, set-in-his-ways teacher.

This isn't a class- it's academic endurance. He tests only on the notes, you DO have to know math, and his notes are sparse and not completely explained- buy the book, read ALL of it-not just what he recommends, study your ASS off, do the extra credit, and like me-you will**** yourself & get an A.

One of the worst teachers Ive had in college, taking this class was a big mistake. I studied my butt of and even use outside sources, only to recieve a D+ on his test, he pulls questions out of his ass, doesnt even give you a hint as to what to study. HE SHOULD RECONSIDER BEING A TEACHER...a joke.
