not a bad class but she is very demanding and the tests don't match the book or her lectures very well. would not recommend. I was very close to receiving a higher grade and she would not budge. but generally a very nice lady

Comment:

Being new to computers, I took this class because I had to. Ms. Fisher is the most devoted instructor I have ever met, and I taught at a JC years ago. She goes above and beyond what is required. If you have difficulty, she will help you. She even came in on her own time on the weekends to help her students. Ms. Fisher is an amazing instructor!

Comment:

Pretty simple class and straight from the book. Had an A all semester until we started learning about access and it went down to a B. Attendance isn't mandatory all she does it do the homework on the board and then lets you go unless there's a test that day. Gives you a day where you can turn in all your late work. Simple class, but VERY boring.

Great teacher! Never waited over 3 hours for an email back. Called me to help with assignments. I think she gives long answers because for some english is their second language. Boring factor- for myself it is dry material. She is not that picky. Has a key, you can fix your work before turn in. Don't be dissuaded by the bad reviews!

Probably the worst teacher I have ever had. There were only 1 or 2 A's and maybe 3 B's in the whole class most of the class failed. If you have to take her make sure you do extremely well on the 4 page project. She failed 75% of the class on this project because she is a very unfair and horrible teacher. This woman should not be allowed to teach.

let me take you through a common class period, you come in, she spends 20 minutes explaining to you how to get your letter grade from the point based print out she gives you. then for at least 1 1/2 hours she will read the next chapter to you explaining the homework and if you ask a question you get a page number. certainly not how i learn.

at first, the class was very easy, but as the simester rolled on she became more and more difficult on grading homework assignments which took ATLEAST 2.5 hours to complete what seems like buisy work. I think there was only 1 or 2 A's in the class and only a few B's half the class did not pass. she is a devil in disguise. take someone else.

good teacher,but sometimes she treats you like you are a retard, because, in fact, there are a lot of them in the class,so,I guess, she assumes everybody is one. Very often I wanted to say: "Hello, I'm not a retard! You don't need to talk to me like that! Just answer the question I asked! I don't need to hear the whole damn thing again! Thank you!"

Doesn't care if she's failing all of her students. I took this class because I thought it was an easy A but I was way wrong. She is so picky and even if your paper is perfect she will find a missing letter or a number and take off points. Not an easy A at all.

She is more concerned with perfection than general knowledge with subjects. Her test start out easy and progressively get worse. There are alot of extra credit opportunities and she will assign a paper. Easy if you don't wait till last minute and just follow the directions in books verbatim for A's.

Rae is great, she goes over every chapter and exercise very clear. I took her summer class, but the material is so easy it was the easiest summer class to get an A. It is a little tedious to do the projects step by step but if you try to rush you might miss a letter or space and she will take points off.

Very tedious homework. Very nit picky teacher. Her grading shows that she does not care if her students understand the concepts because she marks down on missing letters and numbers. The paper is completely ridiculous! This is a computer class not an English class! I got an A but it was harder than I thought a computer class should be.

Really nice and easygoing professor. The class itself is VERY boring. She usually teaches using an overhead projector, so it is hard not to fall asleep in the dark classroom. She let me turn in a bunch of late work on the last day of class for credit. Cool lady.
