It is the most boring business class I have never been. The texbook, which he writes it, is so bored, not organized, lack of analysis and hard to understand and a lot of quotes from scholars. Learn nothing from this class, but pass with B.

edfelt is average, you will learn little, he does not interact with the class at all, he is mr. autopilot, just sit back and listen. i never studied for the tests and got a B - serious curve people, take this guy for an easy grade! avoid if you really wanna learn!

Edfelt is a cool guy. He is extremly organized and very helpful. He is quick with handing back tests and posting grades. His syllabus is very easy to follow & he sticks to his program. Great teacher. Tests are fairly difficult, but you'll do fine as long as you attend class and study the study sheets. He curves. I recommend this professor.

Nice guy, Very boring class. No Projects, two Midterms & cumulative Final are a little difficult but curved; I got lots of questions wrong but passed easily. Weekly one page HW assignment, very simple. He doesn't emphasize what will be on the test so take good notes and study the terms. I NEVER read the book and got B's on all the tests. Got a B.

his class is ok. the 2 midterms are not very hard, but the final exam is hard. yes, come to class every day to take notes and turn in hw. just study off his notes and read the book, you will be ok. can pass with a B. he curves.

You have to attend his class if you want to get a very good grade. Take good notes and make sure to listen he barely writes anyting on the board. He gives you study sheets for the mid terms so make sure to be on top of that as well. He is a cool teacher and nice but the class is not that easy. Be prepared and you should do fine. Grading:Curve

he's a pretty nice teacher. his class is pretty easy. his lectures are not that great sort of boring, but you need to be there to turn in hw. all you need is to read the book. his exams are straight foward. he curves pretty decently since i didnt study for the first exam and got a C+ and a B on the second. an average amount of effort needed

very interesting professor, the only teacher that doesn't bore me to death, he is full of life experience and it's interesting to hear his stories. don't need the book at all, just go to lecture and take good notes!!! hw every week that is worth 20% but he doesn't grade it until the very end, tests are not that easy but manageable, very nice curve

I am a non-U.S. student and have taken two courses from Dr. Edfelt and was VERY IMPRESSED and recommend him to anyone who wants to learn more about international business and mgt. He is unasuming and personable and shares alot of personal experience, especially in Latin America. Both classes were large yet somehow he learns almost all the names.

I thought this class was great. Professor Edfelt was a very nice man and I learned a lot from him. The tests were straight forward; all you have to do is read most of the material, and study the words and questions on the study sheet he gives at the beginning of the semester. He is always willing to help, you just have to ask!

The subject of International and Comparative Mgmt is boring, not the teacher. He grades extremely harsh on the essays on the exams; which is a good thing because it means don't study for it and let the curve take care of you. But Edfelt is one of the good professors at SJSU. I'd take him over Fischel sinceHeHasPoorOrganizationAndLosesAssignments

I think that Mr. Edfelt's class was one of the classes I can honestly say I learned something from, how diff. nationalities like to do bus,to CEO's he covered it all. Granted that this is a course that is a requirement for the Mgt concentration but,I learned things that will be usefull in my practical application that I can actually use in business.

I am a French student. I think the teaching is clear, efficient. The subjects cover important issues and always help to get a better understanding of what management is. The teacher gives a full coverage of what should be known. But of course, you'll need to work and get involved to really get the benefit of the class.

He's a nice old guy with a true passion for what he teaches. He has done alot of international work. Lots of reading, but his test are HIGHLY curved. As long as you know what is on the study guide and keep up with the course reader, you will do fine. The class is a bit dry, but worth taking for the extreme curve.

Mic check 1,2,3? Half the time I felt like takin'it from him and freestylin', dry personality. Class is Hard. For exams, PAY close attention to his lectures, recorder could come in handy.take GOOD notes, Know terms in study guide REAL well, do HMK. I only used text for Reference. I did all this and got B+, so in other words, your on your own buddy!

His lectures are boring but take notes. His exams are directly from the study guide and his lectures. The book is only helpful for reference. If you are limited on time I would forego reading the book and keep good notes and know everything in the study guide including the questions.
