He gives a sample exam, recommended practice problems, and he works questions in class. If you go to class, and do the practice problems, its not that hard to get an A. This is a class you have to study for. He's the best professor at Brockport though, really funny and caring guy.

This teacher is off the chain. Kinda dorky and witty, but a good guy. He taught some really hard lessons. The tests were pretty tough..he'd let you have a cheat sheet, and everyone would still bomb the tests. He would totally CURVE the classes test. I remember getting a 67 on the 2nd test..which was curved to a B+. HARD CLASS, Swallow your pride, have a positive attitude and JUST ****ING DO IT. Take him TUES and THURS--- cuz he would cancel alot..and it would make for one long weekend! TAKE TRECARTIN!!!

His examples are very tough but he does curve them.he is a great professor.Its tough to get an A in his class but if you do what you have to do and don't slack off you should pass his class. You get the feeling that he really cares about his students and whether they pass or not.

Dr. Trecartin is a great teacher. His test are challenging but if you look at them like a puzzle they are easy to figure out. He has great advice about how to manage yor personal finance when you leave college. So pay attention and listen to his stories. He is right, anyone of us could be a millionaire.

Class is alright, I took it because it was required not because I really wanted to. Trecartin is cool and is very clear in explaining student objectives. The curve is more generous than the BUS325 course and no cumulative final. Overall not a bad class
