Excellent teacher. He is very specific, and you pretty much know exactly what is going to be on each tests. Just review your notes, skim over the text, and you'll receive an A on every exam.

Wilkerson is a great teacher. He makes sure you understand the material and is enthusiastic. He really seems to know his stuff. Quizzes were easy if you paid attention in class and he let you have crib sheets for the tests. Plus no final!

Do the homework, take note, ask questions. As long as you can decipher his handwriting, you'll be good to go. The tests are easy, and that's the entire class grade. If you do poorly on a test, he takes it upon himself to help you out. He'll even give you an A when you have an 88.5%.

The class is pretty easy, but you will learn a lot. The majority of the class will probably get an A. Just show up occasionally, pay some degree of attention and you'll be fine. Homework and attendance are optional, and there is no final.

This class is really easy. If you have taken calc 3 and linear algebra you should have no problem getting an A. Even if you haven't he teaches the matterial very well. Little to no homework, simple quizzes, and all but re-used tests make this class pretty easy.

Great prof. Nothing but the best to say. Same schedule for all section so if test in one class expect a test in his other classes on the same day. Otherwise one of the best I've ever had in 4 years here. Weekly quizzes, no final, 2 graded HW, all super easy. No programming know-how needed, just basic math. EASY. Me: Graduating Physics Ma

A very good lecturer, and able to make the subject matter interesting. All but shoves free points down your throat; you would have to work to do poorly in the class. Also a nice guy, but sometimes too nice; he makes it almost too easy.

One of the best professors I've had in the CS dept. He's always willing to help and he almost made you look forward to going to class at 8am. The homework and tests are pretty easy. Do the homework, and you'll do just fine on the tests.

I had no desire to ever take this class but i did because Wilkerson taught it and I needed another elective. It is the best class of my semester. He makes the material a piece of cake, if you don't understand it you shouldn't be in CS, period. He teaches, which is rare in CS here.

Not many teachers these days teach with just the blackboard and no handouts and do it well. But he does a good job teaching the "old fashioned way". If you come to class, do the homework, and don't miss an exam, it's very easy to get an "A". 8 in the morning is the only bad part of the class.

By far one of the best professors I've had in the Computer Science department. I never once fell asleep and always stayed interested (relatively) in the material, especially for an 8 AM class.

This class is at 8AM, but he makes it a pleasure. He takes a "toolkit" approach to teaching the class, which may not appeal to people used to a class which builds continuously in complexity as the semester goes on.

This guy is da bomb! Didn't get much out of the class, but the tests were simple, and, while NO ONE could make it interesting, he gets close. Also tells funny stories and jokes often.

Very helpful, very funny. Ask him about home brewing, if you're into making your own beer.
