LOVE Dr. Durvasula! So insightful and inspirational bc you can learn SO MUCH from her. I would definitely take her again! Lots of assignments, but pace yourself week by week and don't leave it til the end. Take her class! You won't regret it

Very challenging but in a good way. I felt more confident diagnosing psychological disorders than before. She may appear intimidating but she is willing to help. 4 written quizzes, 1 final, 1 midterm, 1 capstone project and lots of reading. If you keep up your readings, you should be fine. I highly recommend her if you are up for the challenge.

Durvasula, is a wonderful professor she knows her material and is passionate. She expects a lot from students. She briefly goes over assignments the rest you have to figure out. You can ask questions she is very nice when you do. 4 quizzes free response and 100 q's on mid-term and final. Big project worth lots of points. Take her at your own risk.

Dr. Durvasula is one of the best professors I ever had at CSULA. Her class consists of 4 quizzes (drops the lowest) 1 presentation, and 2 exams. Her exams are not cumulative. She may give extra credit during the term. The bottom line is this, if you don't read, you'll suffer in her class.

She is by far the smartest professor I've ever had at CSULA. I want to be as snart as she is! She knows her stuff! Her class is NEVER boring and her stories are interesting!!! Her tests have material from articles she assigns and material from the book. You do have to read but you will do fine. She tells you what will be on the final. We didn't have to write a paper! Awesome!!! I love her. Please take her if you want to learn!!!

Really good teacher. She's funny and has some crazy stories to tell, very very intelligent, and kind of cute. though, her tests and quizzes do require you to read/pay attention in class, or you won't pass. Just read the book once and you should be fine, Got to work a little for the A, but no major paper needed.

Never got a good vibe from her. Shes very intelligent but wasnt friendly at all. If you approach her the wrong way, you must be prepared to get chewed. Do not recommend unless ur up for a challenge.
