The class is pretty easy and straightforward, learn how to use a business calculator and you'll do fine in the second half of the semester. Just don't ask him for career advice because he confuses the real world with Gordan Gecko's world too much.

Easiest A you should earn in Smeal. Exams are multiple choice and written so that there is usually only one answer that makes sense if you actually paid attention in class, and on top of that there is 5% extra credit...

Woolridge was pretty good. His lectures were short and to the point, and the quizzes weren't bad. Test was tough because its all theory based. Not an easy A (unless you are an accounting or finance major) but definitely a doable class.

Woolridge is actually a cool guy and you will see this once you see how Gary Gray teaches. Woolridge is precise and tells you what you need to know for the test. He's a cool guy and the tests aren't that hard. GO TO LIONTUTORS!! I beg you, they help with the test questions so much

Unlike Gary Gray, Professor Woolridge is much more clear-cut in his lectures. He gathers students' attention by walking around the class with enthusiasm rather than just standing at the podium reading notes.

Woolridge teaches the 1st half of FIN 301 and does all the definition based learning. Good professor overall, he is terrible at using powerpoint and sometimes blocks his own information on certain slides but besides that he is clear cut. Tests for him are memorization, then you get Prof Gray who does all the calculator stuff

Let's all be honest here. Gary Gray is just here to make Randy seem not too shabby. Easy A. Exams are very similar to questions from quizzes and there's a ton of extra credit.

Randy is a pretty bad teacher, however, for some reason his lectures are not that terrible to listen to. The class is pretty easy in general and Woolridge is 100 times better than Gary Gray. He is hysterical and in my eyes, he is a legend. You're gonna have to do most of the studying on your own, but it's an easy A since you get extra credit.

This class is taught the first half by Woolridge and he is awesome. He's really funny which makes his lectures interesting and he always let us out of class like a half hour early. You can do the class online if you want. He gives extra credit for clicker questions. He covers a lot of material in class, but his tests aren't that specific.

Easiest Business class at PSU. Doesn't try to trick you on tests. Gives you good basic knowledge of finance. Lets you "cheat" on quizzes. Overall smart guy and good teacher. Easy A.

Even though Professor Woolridge is a bit boring, the class really isn't bad at all (coming from a non-finance major). Go to class for the clicker questions, but other than that go over the old quiz questions, lion tutors and textbook for the exams.
