Comment:
Professor Dohne was great! I took his online regional geography and it was great! I have never taken any online class before and he made it easy. You'll get an A as long as you do your reading assignments. He cares about his students and is willing to help when as you ask him to. I would definitely take his class again!

Took this class online. Had easy/open book weekly quizes (15 questions). One midterm (100 questions) and one term paper (2pages). No other homework or final. Weekly extra credit offered. Only had to log on each week for about 10 minutes and passed with an easy A.

Comment:
Dohne is technically a laid back teacher but this gets annoying. Being an online class, you'll need to contact him from time to time but he RARELY emails you back. Assessments will disappear, grades change randomly, and test questions will be wrong. The class is basically a 10 question quiz each week. Very flaky, very frustrating.

Professor Dohne does try to make class fun and interesting, but if you and your fellow students don't meet him half way the class will drag on. Overall his class is not difficult multiple choice exams, and he offers extra credit.

This class is an easy A. The tests are easy because you can look up the questions, and at the end of the semester you can re-do two quizzes. There's not final, which is great, but there's a term paper which is super easy. When it comes to the professor, though, he's not the best at responding to his email and is flaky.

Took online- Easy A in this online class, all quizes and tests are done at home, and therefor all answers can be looked up. So there is no excuse for not getting an A. Only one paper, which is very easy with very clear instructions on what info to include

Not a good professor. Uses power points for all of his lectures, and just sits at the front of the class and scrolls through them. Test questions are deceptive and sometimes unrelated to what you learned in lectures. He gives extra credit for bringing in current events articles. Overall, not a good class.

If it weren't for some interuptive classmates the class was great. Randy does a fantastic job at teaching Geography.
