This guy is useless. He assigns random homework days after class is out. He covers nothing during his class. It is professors like this that brings the whole college down. I wish he would retire so the college could get good teachers!!!!!

Smart guy, but doesn't really "teach". Was disappointed with final exam - he didn't stick with the homework and class notes - he added things that were new, or that he didn't really cover in class, therefore final was much too difficult for what he taught.

Good teacher. You have to know the material well to succeed on the test, however. His lectures are a bit scattered sometimes. Three tests, a final and regular homework. He's very smart and overall a pretty understanding teacher. I liked his class... just don't expect to be able to slack off if you take him... you'll be in for a surprise.

Comment:

Easy class... Homework assignments once a week, 3 test no quizes. Pratically tells you what is on the test and allows cheat notes. The questions on the test are very similar to the homework. Just need the textbook for hw problems. Overall, I think he is very easy.

One of the worst professors. Gives homework on the stuff we didn't talk about in class. Doesn't give out homework answers, and when you ask for the answers, he doesn't even have them. gives out very very low grades for the homeworks and exams. very unorganized. doesn't care much about students' insterest and questions. Avoid him!!!

I think I was lucky to catch Dr. Jackson in a summer session. He's a 50-pound head type that knows how to communicate, which is rare. The book was useless, he said so himself. I think he gets off a bit on tormenting students... it's all in fun, I suppose. Maybe that's why he didn't pass out evals
