Professor Holt's psych class is pretty much an online course through coursecompass. The only thing needed to attend class for was lectures which counted as credit and to take tests. Everything else (and there is a lot of work to do) was online. Overall, he is a really nice, however a bit strange guy. He is quick to get back to your emails.

Awesome professor. He uses course compass and I'll admit it was one of the better classes I've taken at Umass. The class is easy as well as interesting. There are online quizzes that you can keep taking until mastery, there are reviews for tests online and the final was even online. Do the work and you'll get the good grade.

If you don't like As, don't take this class. Holt is awesome. Though his classes are easy, you can still learn a lot from him. He's smart, helpful and easy going. A lot of people complain about his work but it's pretty straight forward and easy. If you have difficulty, talk to him and he will go out of his way to help out!

Dr Bill is one of the best professors I've ever had. He goes above & beyond to help students & gives plenty of opportunity to get an A. Helped me with ideas on what other classes to take to further my career. Genuinely cares about students & it shows! I'm taking another class with him for sure & I strongly recommend him.

Great class, loves that people say his class is "wicked easy" because it is, "all you have to do is the work". online quizzes, tests arent bad if you study his review, loves group discussions and makes them very interesting, overall great guy. definately take this class

this guys an idiot. knows waaaay too much about the subject so when he tries to explain a simple concept, he makes it almost impossible to understand. his lectures are different from the quizzes and the quizzes are different from the tests. thinks hes smart by thowing in $100 words. avoid at all costs. mix between lenny clark and matt foley

Very easy... It is basically an online class. You only have to go to class for a couple of special topic lectures, you can take the quizes as many times as you want to get full credit, and there is lots of extra credit... impossible to not get an A.

Holt is wicked easy!! I think he's funny but his lectures are sooo boring and dry, I feel like passing out everytime I go unless he makes a joke or two. LOVES to talk about his daughter. Anyway, there's a group paper, 12 critical questions, 12 chapter quizzes, 4 Chapter Tests, all taken online!! Plus 5 Points for showing up!! Easy A!!

Really easy class. Didn't learn a damn thing, but this is schooling so I shouldn't expect to. But really, easist A I've gotten in a while. If you don't get an A then you obviously just didn't do anything at all. All you have to do (especially with the online content) is to feign an interest in the subject matter for 30 minutes a week.

Great professor. Passionate about psychology and has some great stories. Very fair. Read the chapters carefully and take every quiz. Do the extra-credit. If you fail this class you definitely aren't made for college.
