Dr. Torres teaches a good class.... no tests.... lots of 2-3 pg papers due, (about 10-15), plus 1 15-20pg research paper... if you do the writing she grades it really easy and you will get an A. Take this class Education majors!

Great class, very interesting. VERY writing intensive. No tests, just papers. Great if you are interested in Latin America. I learned a lot. It's a good class, I highly recomend it

Easy class! Don't bother reading, but GO TO CLASS. If all you do is go to class, copy notes, and look over the notes, you should be set for every test. There's no final - just 4 tests. But beware - lectures can be incredibly boring so try not to fall asleep.

Easy class. nice professor, although her jokes can be kinda corny but she's nice for the most part, the test are really easy i had a B, but that's only b/c i couldn't keep my mouth shut. Go to class and pay attention u can have an easy A.

she is nice, but her test are hard...GO TO CLASS! ITS A MUST! most of it comes from notes...i barely opened my book. its not learning about where places are either its like bio-diversity...i was very mislead...it seems like its a 4300 class. YOU HAVE TO STUDY!

Geog of Tourism class - Take this class if you possibly can! You will benefit by doing the readings and contributing, but it is worth it. Somewhat writing intensive, but the readings make the writing easy. Dr Torres loves to have input from students.

Great teacher!! If you go to class, you'll surely get an A... Test material comes straight from her lecture notes. She's really sweet and loves geography. Sometimes her lectures can be boring but, overall you'll really like her. I recommend her highly!
