Dr.Moodie is my favourite professor ever! It's been about 2 years since I had him for Ichthyology and 3 since I had him for Chordates, but I will always remember him and that course material. I came to him for advisement and he told me to take a lot of Stats courses...and boy was he right! An invaluable resource! The UofW lost a great prof!

BEST COURSE EVER and the hardest. I poured my blood sweat and LOTS OF TEARS into this class! It is the most gratifying thing when it is over. Dr. Moodie is amazing he alone is motivation to study. Letting Moodie down would be as bad as letting your parents or grandparents down. He seems shy but he gets a little childish smile when he talks fish

Dr. Moodie is a great professor. The class is impossible, he marks really hard, but you'll still enjoy it if you make it to the end. Be nice to your lab instructor/demo because they are going to be your go-to people for a the year. Moodie knows more than you'd ever think possible. Can't wait for ichthy.

Moodie is great. This class is so hard, but so interesting. Get Nancy for lab though. I hope you like writing notes! He has some seriously high expectations of us though. Has there ever been an A+?

As most would say, this class is VERY challenging. But that shouldn't scare anyone from taking it. You may wonder if you've gone nuts several times throughout the year, but it is one of the most intersting classes to take. He can get monotone, but he's surprisingly funny, "I just love fish".

Very very hard course, but he makes it interesting. Just make sure you ain't tired before taking it, the guy beside me slept through most of the lectures. Ask him about just about anything though--very knowledgeable.

Amazing prof. Speaks in quiet monotone (except when raving about paddlefish or sea turtles) but makes up for it with great sense of humour. Canetoad movie, Darwin's bday, fishing trips are some highlights. REALLY helpful for honours project. Still, try to get Loadman for the chordates lab.

This course is one of the most challanging ones I have taken, and at times you will wonder why on earth you are taking it! But in the end, the hard work will pay off, and it will be a gratifying experience. Dr Moodie has a deep interest in the subject and a great sense of humour!

If you are interested in masicism this course is for you, however it is one of the most gratifying experiences when it is finally over, you will learn more then you ever wanted to. Make sure you pay attention in lecture and take tonnes of notes.

For the first months, you will hate this class, and yourself for taking it. It requires the most work (mostly in lab) of any course at uofw... HOWEVER, it is also the most FASCINATING course, and completely gratifying. Stick it out. AMAZING course & prof
