Comment:

As a person who hates math, I went into this class thinking I wasn't going to pass but I thought wrong. HW gets collected on tests days (easy 100/100) Tests are easy because they are very clear. The only way you can fail this class is if you don't turn in homework and don't try on your tests He's a really cool person; He gets straight to the point.

Comment:

Professor Hardiman is very good at teaching Math. He cares about his students and he's ready to answer any question you may have. He also gives students good tips on how to succeed in Math. He is old fashioned (no emails or power point) however he is always willing to help a student. He is not strict and the quality of his teaching is high.

I recommend this teacher, he is clear cut and to the point. He is old school, no online anything which I like. Lots of homework and each test is worth 90% of your grade. take this class!

Professor H is a dinosaur, and it shows in the way he teaches his class. If you don't understand something, ask him in class straightaway. If you need a math to fulfill the GE requirement, he's the professor to take! Homework is collected on test days and he only skims it to make sure you've done something. Pretty easy A

Do not take this class in the AM. You'll find it hard to show up. Hardiman is a decent prof, but he usually doesn't stick to the unit schedules he hands out, so show up to know what is actually on tests. Be prepared to have a large stack of xeroxed pages from the book (one that is not a current edition, at that) by the end of the first two weeks.

Method of instruction is ancient. Cannot simply explain formulas. Every single person leaves class googling method to solve problems. Also- he's against computer usage and math lab- which sucks because it would be beneficial for teaching yourself the material. This should be an easy class but his inability to teach material makes it difficult.

He is an excellent professor. There is only five tests during the whole semester. If you study and do your homework, you'll do fine on the final. When asked a question he gives an understandable response, answering the question you ask. If you are absent on the day of a test, when you return he will give you an extra opportunity to take the test.

Hardiman is a great teacher. First off, he is just a super cool guy. He is friendly and respects students who respect him. I am a dummy in math, and he really takes the time to wait up for even the slowest students to understand. Do homework and practice study guides and you will do fine!

Compared to every other math teacher i've had, Hardiman is a good teacher. He likes to skip steps, but gives you sufficient ways of doing different problems. HW is due on test days. I did not enjoy the class as much, maybe because i hate math. But if you need to pass, then take this class. You may struggle, but he is more than willing to help.

Mr. Hardiman was a pretty easy teacher. At first I wasn't sure I would understand him, because he would mumble sometimes. But I ended up comprehending everything he taught. It's a very easy class, NO WORD PROBLEMS! The homework isn't collected until test days, and he just checks it. I would definitely recommend this college math class.

The best math teacher I've ever had. Math isn't my favorite subject, yet I still got a B. I could have gotten an A but that is my own fault. Though a B is pretty good for having the class at 7 AM Mon-Fri. I recommend this professor if you're not strong in math. He's also one of the few math teachers who grades homework, so it helps your grade.
