Comment:

Math has always been my weakness, but Professor Linder helped me pass the class with his awesome tips on how to take effective exams, and most important understand the process in various math concepts. Linder can a very strict teacher when it comes to immature students. If the student is willing to learn and ask for help, he'll help!

This Professor needs to retire or quit teaching period. He makes students feel stupid for asking questions and doesn't help with any questions you have. He doesnt explain the lecture clearly & his writing is so small you can't even see what he is writing. Worst professor ever I would recommend not taking his class at all Worst excuse for a teacher

very strict and doesn't give any slack. Very necessary in a math teacher. Earned an A in class due to all the hard work. If your lazy and want to be babied, then this class is not for you. If you want an actually sense of accomplishment and will work extremly hard then take the challenge.

I tried ignoring all the negative comments left for this professor, but they were right. I showed up for class an hour early asking for help on problems that weren't assigned, I was just doing them for exercise. He made me feel terrible for asking for help. He really knows his stuff but doesn't seem to be interested in helping.

When i ask him questions he philabusters and tries to make me feel ridiculous. he doesn't go over homework, and he comments on how terrible the book is. he says do the homework, but how are you supposed to know if you got the questions right when he makes you feel dumb for asking questions about the homework? very crappy person in general

Best math teacher i have ever had. very disciplined class but in the end its worth it. hes been teaching for 35+ years and knows what works. if you cant deal with a disciplined teacher dont take it. but if you press through its worth it in the end. I hate math but he made me learn so much. He only teaches what is necessary for you to know for 65.

This is the absolut worst teacher I've ever had! I was looking forward to this class, but he changed my mind completely! He is really picky about how you write your answers and would mark you wrong if you didn't do it his way. He would literally lock the doors after a certain point in the class to keep those who were late out of the class.

I hated taking Linder but I have to admit, if I hadn't I'd be in HUGE trouble with my current math class (math 120). He can be rude, condecending, and borish but he must be doing something right because I came away from that class with A LOT. This class will crush your GPA but you'll learn a bunch.

Nice old dude, but I really couldn't stay awake in that class. Yeah math is boring, but this wasn't math, it was hell!! Yeah, I've never liked math, but COME ON!! There is a point in life when everyone needs to retire, he is just too smart for his own good, teaching is no longer his calling.

I dropped after the first day because I recognized him from horror stories I had heard from straight A students. Anyting a teacher starts out bragging about how many don't finish his class--BEWARE!!! That's not good teaching!!!
