I entered Prof. Masadas class as an engineering major and left as a physics major. He is AMAZING. His lectures are mezmerizing and capture your interest. You will have to work hard, but the rewards are huge. I highly recommend him.

Professor Masada made me look into physics more closely. The class is very challenging, but if you are willing to learn from it, you will learn. He does give out pop quizzes, but you will do well if you did your HW . Test are heavily based off from the notes. Homework gives you the idea for the concept, but not much for the test. Great professor

One of my favorite professors at SMC. Physics can be a really complicated subject but Prof Masada presents the material in an easy to understand way. Even though there was no lab, he always brought in props to teach the material which was very helpful. His excitement for the subject is contagious. Always willing to help. He's just a great guy!

Looking back over my career this was one of my truly inspirational professors. He adds crystal clarity to a difficult field and more then prepares you for higher levels of math and science. He certainly changed my life for the better.

No lab activity made learning Physics feel like a drag for me at times. I learned never to schedule a 3 hr long class at 7:45a on Mondays ever again so help me God. Physics is hard! However, Prof Masada is just. If you ask him for help, he will give you the answer. Not only is that encouraging but it is downright respectable.

I was Mr. Masada's student almost 13 years ago for several physics classes at SMC. He is by far the best teacher I ever had. He is my idol and I have deep resepect for him. If you are a student at SMC, do not miss the opportunity to take his course. This might change your life.

I became a U.S. Naval Aviator, and it was during flight OPS at night that he popped into my mind...this MAN really gets physics. That was 20 years ago, and I transferred to UCLA, but I learn more about Physics that one can use from him. Masada to the Nth degree...he was my Jth term in aviation.

A great professor. He's been teaching at SMC for over 40 years and the school is lucky to still have him. He's very helpful and clear. He makes all of his lecture notes available online for printing. The class is very organized and he makes difficult material easy to handle. If he's teaching the class you need, grab a spot as soon as you can.

Prof Masada has a real passion for physics and it's projected in his lectures. The class is a lot of work but he is a fair grader. If you pay attention in class and study the notes, you will do well on the exams. Don't expect an easy 'A' but dont think he makes it impossible either. At the least you will learn a lot.

Professor Masada is the shizzle. I took his Phys1 and Phys2 classes say 12 years ago. Transferred to UCI aced my undergrad Thermodynamics while the rest of the class struggled. This is a tough topic teach and nobody teaches it like Professor Masada. You might not have the same confidence in engineering topics without this level of teaching.

I've taken physics elsewhere. In comparison, Mr. Masada's lectures are helpful, insightful, and clear. If you are interested in physics, you owe it to yourself to learn from this teacher. He displays an interest and understanding of the subject, and strives to pass on no less than that to his students. Highly recommended.

O MY GOD! This prof is UNBELIEVABLE!!! U can's ask for better prof than him! He cares abt his students. His lecture is the BEST! but u need to get ready for the exam, study hard! do the homework, understand the labs, review his old exams! Best physics teacher I ever had. Not an easy teacher, but the way he teaches makes the subject very fascinating. He is a very nice guy, obviously loves physics, loves to teach and has a talent in teaching. This is a really uncommon combination. All friends from my class that I talked to liked him.

Excellent teacher. Very helpful, crearly explains material, organized, nice!! BEst teacher ever. Like any other class a lot of WORK so do you HW and ask questions he will be glad to help. NOt easy to get an A but if you work hard and go to his lectures you will get a good grade. Test are mostly based on notes, and few from Masterin Physics.
