Parker is an awesome teacher. He's very old school with paper handouts for all of his class material. If you don't go to class, you'll have no idea what is going on. His class isn't the easiest, but he is so laid back and easy to listen to. The group project was easy too.

Dr. Parker is one of a kind. He understands our role as students and the uselessness of unnecessary materials. He teaches from real world experiences. He is one of the most laid-back and understanding instructors I have had the pleasure of encountering. Will be sad to see him go when he retires.

Comment:

Awesome guy. Great teacher! Interesting in class and very understanding and willing to help. One of the best teachers I've had at Missouri State!! Lectures aren't spot on with the test, but the study guides are which makes it easy to miss class if necessary. He always e-mails the study guides to you before the test. Definitely take this instructor.

One of my favorite teachers ever! He doesn't teach off a book, in fact, I never even purchased a book! All of his test are mainly off of the notes he gives us in class. That is also how his lectures are structured. I loved his stories and his examples! He was always relatable in his teaching!

He tries to keep things relevant which was nice but sometimes it was hard to know exactly what to study. Try to keep track of the examples he gives in class and follow the study guide and you'll do fine on tests. He also drops the lowest test which means you don't have to take the final.Fun and interesting. Buy a cheap older version of book online

Amazing teacher, but I wish he would catch up on the times. He says a lot of very interesting things but I found myself writing down his extremely long notes and not listening 75% of the time. With the use of power points, this class would be amazing!

he is a great teacher.write down what he says and notes he provides during a class.he gives students study guide prior to an exam.but there were some questions which were not on the study guide, but on the textbook.so read both notes and textbook.if he says some statistical data IN AN INPORTANT TONE, make sure write down.

His class is very laid back, but his lectures rarely relate to what is on the test, so you really have to keep up in the book to do well. His tests are a bit hard, but he sends out a study guide. If you are looking for an A, there are easier professors to take this class from.

He was an alright professor. I definitely wouldn't say "one of the best." Class was always the same long lectures and usually pretty boring. He is VERY laid back, but his tests are a lot harder than I expected. The final project is really easy and kind of fun, and he drops your lowest test score. I ended up getting an A, barely. Would recommend tho

Dr. Parker is extremely intelligent and laid back. He doesn't recommend a book for the class which helps out with money and time. He hands out outlines before every test and goes over it in depth. I would highly recommend him to everyone! Being a senior, he's one of my top three favorite professors!

He is really a Great teacher.His class is full of fun and knowledge. Even for me,an international student here, i can understand his class well and tried to discuss in class! His tests are straight from the notes.You don't need to buy the textbooks at all; you can use the intro. book if you want to keep track of every point on the test!
