Sitting through class was definitely at times a difficulty, but if you pay attention then it only helps to reinforce the material. I personally did not buy or read the textbook and ended up with an A in the class. I relied heavily on the Power Points and that was enough for me. He hates people asking repeated questions, but he is approachable.

zzzzzzzzz.... VERY BORING. Assigns readings but never covers them directly; he has his own slides which sometimes is way too much in depth or even new stuff compared to what the textbook covers, so I ended up studying both. EXTREMELY DIFFICULT TESTS but is a HUGE CURVE to compensate for it; my final percentage was 74 but still ended up with an A :O

Boring. Awful. And just plain hard. The professor is awful and gets mad when people try to ask questions. Don't take this class.

This class is okay. BUT the prof is boring. He's actually an okay teacher, but he has a soft voice and is pretty monotone. Yes, there's a curve and like any other class with a curve, just do better than everyone else and you'll be fine. Study the textbook and the slides. I was on facebook during class and I did fine.

Worst teacher I have ever had at Binghamton. Incredibly boring, and rude during class (which is weird since he's such a cool guy outside of class time).Perception is interesting but he makes it horrible. I used class time to just read the textbook and go over his slides. Not hard if you study a lot, but he definitely tries to trick you on his tests

Awful. This class killed my soul and then buried it. Alright, facts: The curve is huge, but you still need to study to get an A because the tests are not easy. Most of us just sit in class and read the book while he is teaching because he makes no sense and is not able to explain anything. I would not recommend taking any of his classes. Ever.

I thought this class was going to be the death of me, but after reading the text and memorizing his slides it became my EASY A! Going to class can be helpful, but I ended up using it as my nap time. To get an A you just have to read the slides, read the text, and look over the former tests on blackboard. The curve is amazing too!

Possibly the worst class I have had in BU's psychology department. He flips through slides changing his own thought process mid sentence, which may or may not have anything to do with slides. He seems unprepared every single day. Take this course with someone else.

Going to class is useless, he can't teach and you will just get more confused. If you have any intelligence, read the damn book and memorize the notes. The curve is huge- out of 48 questions on a test, i would get 16 wrong. I got an A, so study!!!

He talks and talks and talks, but at the end of class you realize he has said absolutely nothing useful. His tests aren't that hard if you read the book, but in class he just shows the same slide like 8 times in a row and doesn't explain it. My advice: bring a pillow and take a nice nap.

I feel bad for this guy. First off, he is missing some inches from being classified a normal human being. Second, he is also missing some talent in teaching. Perception is difficult as it is; Pastore just makes it worse. I am sure he cries because of his abilities, or lack thereof. Interesting note: a 65% average = A. Take if you're suicidal.

While he is not the most animated teacher in the world, he is not as bad as the other comments make him out to be. He seemed to be a nice, knowledgable guy, just not the best instructor. Your grade is based solely on tests which have a very generous curve. He is bad at answering questions. READ THE TEXTBOOK
