Nice guy, never rude. His classes are vague, but entertaining. Offers out-of-class aid if you are having any problems. Doesn't take attendance and lets you rewrite papers that were bad. Pretty mellow for an English professor.

I had him for english composition and he was one of the best english teachers I ever had! He is very helpful, and if you ever have any questions on your paper he will bend over backwards to make sure you know what you're doing. Gets off subject occasionally but has awesome stories. Highly recommend him!

Nice and clever guy, but I didn't really learn anything from him. He tells great stories but nothing ever relates directly to the class. It's an easy class to coast thru, but not much is learned.

I took his Lit, Film, & Fear class. WONDERFUL COURSE!!! I took this my last semester of college as an elective and was always looking forward to it. There was a lot of reading and in class discussions. His other courses are fun and he makes it entertaining. If you show interest he will grade fairly and give honest feed back. He's PhD people.

Great guy! The best English class I ever took! Really funny and has the best stories. He doesn't really care if you show up for class or not. As long as you do your work its an easy A.

The perfect class for people who hate English. If you care then run away. He barely reads papers and gives little feedback but that's okay because he really asks very little from the students. He also likes to tell stories about himself to make you think he's as cool as he thinks he is. But if you want to coast then he's the prof for you.

Sean Martin is an excellent professor who has his own way of looking at the world. He lectures are thought provoking and relevant! I am so happy that I took his class. I am also taking him next semester for World Lit 2. Definite must if you can. Also he teaches self-defense to anyone who is interested.

He's a really good teacher. Great class discussions, and he will always help you when you need it. Very fair grading policies, you can rewrite any paper for a B+! As for textbook use, try not to buy Elements of Amrgument. He assigns some reading from it, but just borrow it from a friend because it isn't a cheap book. Also, he's hot in a creepy way.

Mr. Martin was a wonderful english teacher. He does whatever he possibly can to help his students understand what he expects in a paper and how to improve. He treats his students more like a friend rather than some annoying kid merely wasting his time.
