Comment:
One of the worst classes I've ever taken! He was not supposed to be our professor, but was switched last minute. His lectures are incredibly long, boring, and painful! No one even listens in that class because its so boring and his tests are difficult because he does not tell us what is on it or anything to study. I don't recommend this class.

Very interesting lectures that connect different aspects of the world. I looked forward to coming to class everyday to times when even though I should have skipped to study for a difficult mid term, I would still attend the class because how much I love the knowledge that is taught. I also appreciate the hints of humor in the class lectures althoug

One of the harder classes I've taken at SJSU. Lot's of technical information for one course. Exams and computer assignments worth a lot of your grade and are pretty work intensive. Richard is overall a nice guy. VERY knowledgeable. Can't blame him too much for being a bit blunt and condescending sometimes, he's got to answer a lot of questions.

Takes time to explain topic to students. He should make himself more available to students, since he is such a good teacher and has vast knowledge in the field.

Good class to learn about statistics. Takes some work, but not unreasonable at all. Good professor that knows his stuff. Labs can be gone over in more depth.

Taketa is a very good professor-knows the subject and explains complicated concepts clearly. The labs are really time consuming and some are confusing, but you will learn alot. Lectures are a bit dry, but important for the exams.
