(NTENSIVE) Take notes on book beforehand. Very hard open note quizzes/test - MC/matching/blanks/T or F. 5 quizzes - available b/w 6AM-8AM before class starts; once open, you have 1/2 an hour to do. Very long/tedious assignments; grading took weeks. Goes on irrelevant tangents. Goes overtime - sometimes 5:30 PM. Old quiz questions - on final.

I took this class as an intensive and it was the hardest class I've ever taken. The final and the quizzes were extremely hard and had a ton of questions you had to write out yourself. There was pre-course work I had to do over break. He took the entire semester to finish grading everything when he said he would have it done in 2 weeks.

I learned so much about the New Testament from his intensive class. Do yourself a huge favour and take it with him. He was so passionate and emotional on the subject. I had some reading to do over the break, but it made me understand the material even more. The quizzes were somewhat challenging, but they were open book. :) Take Dr. Rasberry!

This professor was the worst I have had at Liberty University Online. Acts is one of my favorite books of the Bible and I was excited for this course. This professor made it unbearable. He does not grade things on time, and many of your assignments need to be graded before you can go to the next one.

I took the winter intensive course. Dr. Rasberry is a skilful teacher and he kept our attention during long hours. Test were not easy but it's quite possible to get an A in his class. I would strongly recommend him for the New Testament class.

Dr. Rasberry is a great teacher. For an intensive, he stayed extremely focused the whole day every day. The class subject is great. It is great to see Dr. Rasberry so passionate about what he teaches. The class itself is reasonably challenging; however, it's not too difficult to make an A.

I took this class as an onlin summer class. I enjoyed learning about the NT with him. The only hard thing is the group discussion boards. Make sure you follow directions when it comes to these. The quizzes and final are open note. I started using the textbook at the beginning of the class but stopped after awhile.

As a senior at Liberty, this Professor is by far the worst i have had during my four years. Dr. Rasberry is hard, I was excited to study Acts, but now everytime i open to that book in the Bible i cringe because i remember this class. He takes forever to grade an assignment, and is never helpful with his comments. DO NOT TAke!! you will regret it.

Took this class as an intensive. I didn't open the book one time and got 100% on everything. He loves the Lord and teaches the BIBLE as opposed to opinions or commentaries. He basically gives away answers during quizzes and assigns a 100 point extra credit at the end. He takes time to answer questions thoroughly and really cares. Highly reccomended

So long as you do the work, he is not difficult. He keeps class interesting and does a great job presenting the material. He is very understanding and strives to help his students as much as possible. I would definitely recommend taking an intensive with him.

I took the BIBL110 intensive as well and it was very difficult. However, I believe that he made the quizzes hard for a reason. At the end of the week he more than made up for the difficulty by allowing us 100 points extra credit for an easy assignment. He seems like a great man that knows a lot about the word of God. I highly recommend him.

This is the hardest class I have taken in a long time. His quizzes are filled with stuff that you would never think to remember when reading. I studied for at least 2 hours, and this helped very little, especially for the reading quiz. Quizzes are almost all fill in the blank. I would advise not to take this class as an Intensive.

I am currently taking him as an intensive. It's a full semester load in just one week, 8 hours a day for 5 days. Like with any intensive, the work is rushed, strenuous, and heavy. However, he seems well-prepared, -versed, and -educated. He likes it if you ask good questions. He hates it if you bicker continuously with him about his test questions.

Old testament survey with rasberry is like prison;the Teachers assistants guard the doors and walk around to wake people up lol. this class was boring. whatever you do DONT take this in a three hour block once a week. its PURE TORTURE. its the opposite of Dr. Hindsons class. his tests are focused on dates and names.

I absolutely loved this prof. He seemed very dedicated to teaching his students. He is very organized. It's a pity that we had to have a 150 student class. I mostly remember his ever polished shoes and neat hair. Even if I dozed a lot during class (afternoon class), I kept up with the readings, handouts/ppts and performed quite well.
