Honestly, I love this professor. I feel like his lectures are "story time," and really enjoy coming to class for a change of pace. Exams are essay based, 1 midterm, 1 final (non-comprehensive). Your grade depends entirely on the TA.

Great professor. He is fair and if he sees you are interested, then your grade is guaranteed. Papers are important in his class, and you have to right a term paper in this one which is 40% of your grade and attendance with the discussion grade is like 20%; the Exams are easy and multiple choice which is hard to find in a 500 level history class.

He is one of the best lecturers I have had yet. His lectures are interesting and informative. He is able to relate the material to make it easy to understand. His exams were essay. One part on ID's and another on one of the major themes. I cant really comment on the grading, because that is all subjective to which TA you have. Overall great class.
