Robert Dawley really knows his stuff, it's very clear that if you have any intrest in Biology at all he will help you and teach you plently of intresting things with great amounts of passion. One thing too note though is that this is a very learn on your own type of course with lots of work, however Dawley really goes over what we learn very well.

Dr. Dawley can seem pretty tough on the first day, cause this class is a lot to take on. Don't be scared the class gets easier with time. Dawley is also hilarious and makes classes interesting. Also he has some rocking t-shirts! My only complaint is he's a little scatterbrained, but I have never felt unprepared for a test due to this.

An interesting professor, very nice though his humor is weird. His lectures can get off track quickly and many times he runs out of time before class is over. He explains main concepts very well but misses minute details that end up on tests. If you don't want to lose those crucial points, be sure to adequately review the material on your own.

Can be sometimes confusing, and very easily sidetracked, so you don't finish all of a lecture in class. Does a good job focusing on key ideas, but overlooks minutia that will be on the tests. Fun professor, but possibly not the most instructive.

Dr. Dawley is a decent professor. He goes over most of the material and is extremely helpful if you ask him questions. Just do the study guides and read and you will pass the course. Not too difficult at all.

Great teacher. He will call you out if you don't participate but overall good guy. Really hard paper grader, but in the end he just helps to make you better. Hard class but if you put in the work you'll be fine.

If you aren't an idiot, it is very possible to do well in his class. You need to devote your time to studying the material, He does not go over everything like some other professors might do. His pre-class quizzes were pretty hard, but prepared you for the test as well as anything. People only complain about him because he is smarter than them.

Works okay in class to help students understand, but ideas are still somewhat unclear. Seems to jump around a lot from idea to idea. Tests are ridiculous, and questions usually have nothing to do with their units. I find that studying makes no difference in my grade because of tests.

i've completely lost interest in studying biology because his class annoys me so much. he makes extremely awkward comments in an attempt to seem "cool" or to understand the "party life" at Ursinus but he just makes an uncomfortable environment. when teaching CIE, he magically becomes an English professor? i don't think so. terrible grading techniqu
