Online class - He seems to have an attitude toward anyone asking for help. He's not as organized as other instructors that I've taken online classes from. Between his pompous attitude and his lack of organization, I wouldn't recommend him, and I will avoid taking classes from him in the future.

Awesome instructor!! Funny guy, is really easy going and more than wlling to help. Also had him for CS125E which was jut as easy with a little work. Both classes are an easy A if you have a litte computer knowledge!!

Good teacher. The only problem for me was taking a computor class in a regular classroom rather than a computor lab. Be prepared to watch him do stuff on a computor in class everyday.

I've had Johnson for three classes so far and I really like his teaching style. He didn't argue when I found errors in his slides and he really digs discussing both the material and upcoming technology. Yeah, he's fast and some people might find that intimidating, but he does listen when you bring it to his attention without saying "thingy."

Not helpfull in the least. Belittles his students, answers questions with a question. When asked how to do something, he refers to the text as if it had not allready been read. Major GOD complex. My only refuge was the computer lab and their helpfull staff.

Robert was one of my favorite computer science teachers, he was a bit different but he definitely knows the material like none other and is always happy to help. If you want to learn the material this is your man, he is the only professor I know that knows his error codes by heart

Johnson is intimidating? yeah, sure, as intimidating as a baby lamb. He has a great personality, and teaches VB because he's the best for it. I felt i could always talk to him about any assignment, very easy to do the work if you have the time (i have a D as of this post, i have 2assignments missing

To me he just seems to babble on and on. I never really learned anything that I could not do on my own at home. He's a great guy with an upbeat personality he just didn't do it for me in terms of learning.

I had a great time in Johnson's classes. His assignments are relatively easy (usually examples on the transfer drive VERY similar to what he expects), and the rest is covered very well in the lectures. Do the work, read the book, you'll have no trouble.

Robert just doesn't get it. For some reason he treats students like numbers instead of people. I found him extreemly dificult to talk to, as he can be intimidating.
