He was the nicest professor I've had yet. He's very funny, enjoys what he does and makes class fun. You don't really need to read the readings because he goes over them in detail in class, you only have two tests and they're open book. He makes the readings interesting and its a great introductory class for someone who enjoys literature.

He is so sweet. I love his class. He makes everyone feel comfortable about sharing their work and really helps improve your writing skills. He loves to help you, so just ask. One of the greatest professors I've ever had. Take him!!

This class was pretty easy.. 4 Papers and NO FINAL. Takes attendance everyday though..reading assignments pretty much every night..however i never read a single essay and i got a High B or Low A, so he's a really cool guy and sometimes uses Friday's class time for writing help...USE IT..it produces better grades

Nice guy. Class is very boring but he doesn't say anything if you chat on AIM during class. The only thing that makes this course difficult is the way the essay questions are worded, both on the essays and on the tests. He doesn't make clear what he is asking. He is otherwise a pretty cool prof.

I think Kinsley is one of the nicest professors ever. He obviously has a great deal of interest in what he's teaching. It's kind of boring for the student, unless they're extremely interested in literature, but the class is not hard. He says "after all" a lot, but I actually think he cut back on it a little towards the end of the quarter.

Class is pretty easy after all. Hes a decent speaker at times, but after all he sometimes begins to lose focus. After all he takes attendance every day and the class is wretchedly boring. If you havnt seen the pattern yet, he uses the phrase "after all" so often it can be difficult to concentrate after youve noticed. We counted 97 in my last class

You may want to bring a noose to class to kill yourself for when you become unbelievably bored. Other than that its an easy class. For fun keep a tally of how many times he says the phrase "after all", chances are you will need a few pages. Also for fun get a calendar and make a class pool for the day he will stand up.
