Prof. Perry is an INCREDIBLE teacher that is worldly and very open minded. Tests are hard if you don't study and pay attention in class. He does have a slight twitch, but after a week I didn't even notice it. This guy is very, very knowledgeable. Even if you don't like Sociology, taking this class will open your mind in so many different ways.

An extremely knowledgeable teacher for his profession. Lets you use 1 page (1 side)of notes on each test (very helpful). When he lectures, most of the time he will say "hint, hint" or "make note of this," which usually means its on the test SO TAKE NOTE of that. Tests are not easy but not hard, so study. Class was very interesting!

Great Professor!! Easy to understand. Great with all of his students. Recommend taking any class you can with him. You can use a whole frontside sheet on tests and gives starred items that will be on the test. Gives extra credit too. The "Student's teacher" in my opinion.

nice guy and wonderful professor! i highly suggest taking any of his classes. we were allowed to use 1pg of notes during each test...plus, he would tell us to take note of certain concepts during lecture which meant it was going to be a question on the test.

Great Professor! Leads a great class discussion and books are easy to follow. Quizes and tests are straight forward. Only a 2 tests and several small quizes. Easy material to understand. I'd recommend him for any class he teaches.

We cover a lot of really great issues, some I wish that we covered in more detail. The books are very easy to read, and the prof leads a decent class discussion. Class is pretty easy really, attendance required at quizzes and tests only. If you like to discuss society and see both sides of things this is a good teacher to take.
