He lies to his students- he told me he'd excuse my absences for when I was in the hospital but even though all my grades were passing and on time, he decided to fail me for my absences. The department got involved and overruled him- giving me a W at the last minute. He's awful, do not trust anything he says.

He's not a bad guy, just very boring. It didn't dawn on me until midway through the semester that he was actually probably trying to get discussions going in class, or at least trying to get people engaged and participating, it's just that he seems to have no idea how. Not a fun class to sit through, but he means well and is willing to help.

I enjoyed his class.. Very interesting and he puts a lot of effort into it. He seems like a hard grader but he bends over backwards to help the students. He was kind and understanding. Everyone seemed to enjoy his class.

He sweats all class and his voice is quite possibly the worst. There is nothing interesting in his readings until the end of the semester and he grades like he is on crack. He is very nit pickey. In papers he likes the word very instead of so(this is just one example). Avoid this class like the plague.

If you read what he assigns, you will have no problem getting an A on the essays. I think he gave our class 4 or 5 essays, but you turn in the rough draft for a check in his book, then he gives you written comments and if you fix what he tells you to, you'll get an A. Nice guy, friendly, and he'll cut you a break if you're a good student

His classes are awful, the readings are terrible and boring. Books such as "Their Eyes Were Watching God" and "The Great Gatsby" are nothing but standard garbage and a waist of time. There's homeworks every week, he marks up papers like crazy, a crazy grader, Terrible class, sorry "old sport"..

Nice person who understands what it's like to be in college today. Remember it's Eng 002, so don't expect too much from the course. I didn't agree with one of his choices in topics to read and write about, but he is the professor. Be warned: he's a hard grader. Though, he's flexible on due dates. I'd say chances of liking him are 50/50.

Awful teacher and very degrading to women, athletes, black and other religions...he doesn't think before he speaks outloud and insults a lot of people. Hard class. And extremely boring. He tries to joke but is so unbelievably NOT funny.
