Great professor. She is very knowledgeable and comfortable talking about all areas of European history. Robertson is the best history professor at UM-Flint in my opinion. She was responsible for getting me to switch minors from psychology to history. Robertson's lectures are not to be missed for anything.

Demanded way to much in a short period of time. Took her for a summer course and she acted like it was a fall course and there was not a day i wasn't doing something or writing a report for the course...

While I really loved Dr. Robertson's lectures, there were some class periods that just felt like fillers until the final papers were due. Most were interesting, but others lagged a bit. The readings and the papers were all interesting, especially the document analysis papers. The term quizzes, however, tended to be difficult and repetitive.

I highly enjoyed this class, and Dr. Robertson as an instructor. Our entire grade was based on an ePortfolio, which was an excellent experience, but also somewhat stressful, as you really didn't get any grade feedback until the final. My only complaint is that she lingered way too long on checking the terms quizzes and had too much group work.

Some of you guys had it right,Dr. Robertson is indeed the best History Professor of all time @ Michigan Flint. She is a absolutely pleasant person who to me is a professor of professors. I have never had a professor that was a concerned about me as she was. She truly does care about the students and is not there for a pay check.

Very pleasant personality but a bit unorganized. Her lectures are boring She relates better to female students and has afollowing of hangers on. She brought up an issue(nothing serious and it was class related) we had between us in front of the entire class and I consider that unprofessional. This was after we had already discussed it personally.

I've had her for a few classes now. Her classes are not intimidating, and she has an easy to understand teaching stle, while you still feel like you learn a lot. Very approachable if you do happen to have trouble. I'd definitely recommend her classes.

Had her for History of Russia. Pretty disorganized and her expectations weren't always clear. Very easy grader though and a nice person. Seemed to know her subject but didn't always communicate it well.
