Wonderful professor.I'm sorry I did not get a chance to meet her in person since it was an online class, but she is very understanding and works hard to teach well! It really shows how much she cares for her students. Would certainly recommend taking Prof. Garrett!!

This is Robin Garrett commenting here. I do think I'm a helpful teacher, but I don't think I'm easy. My classes are "attainable A" classes because if you do the work,you do well. I just don't make it a mystery what work you need to do. Every semester, I have some students who don't do the work, they get low grades, and they know why they got them.

She's a lovely professor with lots of enthusiasm. Some may find her a bit eccentric, but I greatly appreciate her humor and energy. Superb teaching and fashion styles. The one class I looked forward to every week. Relatively easy grader as well!

Class was supposed to be 3 hrs never more than 1 1/2. She was very nice and helpful. Her clarity on assignments and on D2L were confusing sometimes, but once understood, the work was easy. 2 tests w/review, 1 paper/topic ur choice, and wkly easy HW. A lot of class participation required, but was fun and easy. Take her you won't be disappointed.

AMAZING I highly recommend this professor. She made a 3 hour night class fun and never kept us the full time. She genuinely cares about people in general and is so lively. Study guides give you everything for the test, some homework due once a week. Loved her as a person and professor I wish I could take her for all my classes

Robin Garrett! one of the most amazing people you will ever meet! not just as a professor but also as a person. She cares about people and genuinely wants to help. She often throws a little bit of herself into class discussions and that's how I came to know how much of an awesome person she is. It's hard to fail because shes so encouraging.

TAKE THIS CLASS. Garrett is such a caring and open minded teacher. The class is extremely easy but with that being said, I have learned more in this class than I would in any other class. She really allows students to speak their mind opening up the floor for many many interesting discussions. Only 2 mandatory exams and 1 paper.

EASY teacher, expects you to speak up, but yes, agree with her or she will turn against you. Easy grader and has awesome discussions. She will cut you off if you repeat yourself, but lord help you if you interrupt her. She is truly passionate and caring, but def. scatter brained to the maximum!!!!!

Very sweet woman, however she should stop teaching soon. Very scatter-brained with discussions (which are very interesting btw)however assignments are incoherent. Gave my 200% in this class and was genuinely interested, attended daily and late only once but still received a B!! A word of advice: agree with EVERYTHING she says to ace the class.

I am this professor, here to say that I love teaching and work hard at it. I am, unfortunately, not always really well organized so I want to apologize to any students who have found this a problem. Very interesting class, Robin is a sweetheart, she is always open to talk and she is very smart. I also had her as a boss and I loved her, the class was a writing emphasis so it was a lot of work and reading, but it was worth it, Robin is very knowledgeable.

encourages class discussion however has a tendency of cutting you off. informative class, and understand its writing emphasis however its just wayyyyy toooo much busy work and you don't even get insight on your writing technique. seems like shes more interested in what your personal beliefs are than actually helping with your writing

One of the easiest classes ever, you go to class take a quiz on the questions she gives you. The midterm and final are the exact same as the study guide she gives you before the exam. She gives you the option of staying after the quizzes and she never takes attendence. Seriously the nicest woman ever.
