If Sociology is your major or this is a required course for you, do not take Bartlett. You will walk away with even less that when you started. Inconsistent, flaky, strong feminist, forgetful.

This professor is extremely flaky. She tends to forget what she says and is not very prepared. Her teaching materials and her style leave much to be desired.

This teacher is very unorganized. Be sure to keep all of your tests because she can't keep track of the grades herself and made several errors that I had to have corrected. Very frustrating.

DON'T TAKE HER CLASS! She is soooo unclear with directions and what she expects, can't stay on one topic, tests are confusing and there are no test reviews or anything to help you out. She also grades your writing papers like a Comp professor. Take someone else...don't even waste your time or money!!!!!

Disorganized. Lectures have little to no impact on material on tests. All test open book (including the final). A+ exempts you from final. Unclear about research paper, but grades at a higher level than intro.

She was all over the place. She obviously has a passion for sociology, but she doesn't stay on topic at all.

Don't take her if you can take someone else! She's very scatter brained and makes something that should be common sense really hard to grasp. She is constantly bragging and going to class is only a good idea because of the attendance policy. She's not hard, I just didn't learn a single thing and feel dumber now for having taken her.

I just read what everyone else wrote...THEY COULD NOT BE MORE WRONG! She gives you open book/note tests that are literally word for word out of the book. Easy A. She is a lot of fun. Very vibrant and lively. You will enjoy going to her class and not regret it.

Horrible teacher... goes off on tangents. brags all day about her assisted living background. Tests are ridiculous and i failed everyone one, even though they were open book and group tests. Way too much energy to the point of annoyance - also a feminist so dont try if your a guy.

Unbelievable. This is the nuttiest teacher I have ever seen. She talks about irrelevant stuff and then gives unbelievably hard tests. She does give curves but only cause her whole class fails the tests. I got an A but it was one of the hardest classes I have ever taken

Is a horrible professor! Teaches absolutly NOTHING that appears on the tests! Goes off on random stories that has nothing to do with sociology. You can make one notecard for each of her tests and the final is open book. If you have a A in the class you have exempt the final!
