He's a good guy, nice and can be helpful but his class is so painfully dull that it really is hard to sit through. It's not horribly difficult and he provides study sheets/questions that have a lot of what will be on the test. Tests are decently hard though. It's just not a class I look forward to.

Dr. Dunn is an excellent professor. Give the course an honest attempt and you just might learn something and enjoy it. art history is not the most exciting topic, but Dunn is very funny. He uses a mixture of lecture, video, and hands on. Museum trip required. Bottom line- read the material, participate and pay attention=a solid grade.

He is a sweet guy. He is a little boring but try and pay attention and don't text! He freaks! The study guides have everything you need to know and don't buy the book. He is fair and i got straight B-s on everything and ended up with an A-... Maybe because I participated? Anyway take him if you can pay attention.

This was probably one of the most boring classes ive ever taken. I cant really say much more about it then that. Gives study guides, I didnt buy the book. Just googled the study guides. He gives you a project too thats pretty easy. I got a B and I still have no idea what the class is about.

Dunn is an amazing prof. He is fair and gives just the right work load for a class at this level. Pretty easy A actually. It's a college course, so yes, you're going to have to study and do some work. Great class over all.

Prof.Dunn is a pretty fair guy. Give's an extra credit paper which replaces you lowest test grade. 3 tests study and you'll do fine. Don't worry about taking notes on slides-specifics shown on slides are not on tests.I didn't read the text but went to each class, participated, and studied hard. Not a difficult A. Participate or you may fall asleep.

2Yr Sem Buddhist Art & Architechture. I loved his class and wasnt exprecting it. Dunn is great. He's interesting to listen to, super laid back, and he's a pretty funny guy. Easy class. Definitely take his class!

I took him for asian art. Its alot of work-especially if you are a totally uninterested, non art major, and just filling a requirement like I was. Basic looking at slides every class, it can be interesting, but you quickly get over it when you have to study all that crap! 2 Essay tests, 1 mult choice, 1 museum paper. Lots of studying for exams.

Dunn is THE nicest man, a total sweetheart. His classes aren't exactly a rollercoaster of fun and excitement (it's art history, c'mon. it might be my major but once the excitement of textbook = picture book passes, people lose interest), but he's the one professor whose class I make a point to attend. His tests are super easy if you aren't stupid.

This class is really boring. Will stand in front of class and lecture about boring slides for the entire period. Many people leave class early and fall asleep. The lights are always off and it's the same thing every class. I would not take another class with him or another art class at BSC....sooo boring. Also the tests are super hard.

I had really no interest in this class but took it to get a GER out of the way. Prof. Dunn is a good teacher and a nice guy and far east/asian art really is interesting. Doesnt ask too much of you except for a trip to museum of fine arts but lots of extra credit to be had.

FREAKED out about this class all semester...passed with a B. phew. Really nice guy, but soft spoken and you just watch slides in a darkened classroom...snoooree...he does realize this, though. Graded on 3 tests and a paper - the first two tests SUCKED but the final was multiple choice. PASS IN YOUR PAPER EARLY! and reading the book does help a bit.
