horrible. He's old, and he knows too much, which he doesn't communicate to students. You rely on reading the books, and he checks your notes every class to make sure you're reading. Tests are open book, but MAKE SURE you have VERY specific evidence, or you won't do well! I'm not sure if he's retiring, but I WILL NEVER take a class with him again!

Class is a ton of work, but not difficult. Lots of reading and writing. A 1 page paper is due every class, but it is simple. Sipher is the man though. He is the nicest guy you will ever meet and has a wonderful sense of humor. Class is enoyable despite the hard work. Two test are essay and open book

Dr. Sipher is AWESOME!! Lots of work but his students learn a great deal! His social studies program is the best!! He gives one confidence to do the best he or she can in his class. Great teacher!
