Ron was my BFA advisor 30+ years ago. He was hot then. Now he is an old man I guess (I've seen his pic). He was an OK prof, you had to like the subject matter in the first place. Then it was OK. So if you were in one of his 400 level art history classes you wanted to be there because you were dedicated to your upcoming graduation date.

Nice guy, very accessible and easy to talk to; lectures is way too long to sit in dark and view slides, and very difficult class to take notes for, though, loose grading policies balance this out a bit; lectures could be more organized, I often don't understand where hes going as he jumps topics...

Dr. Bernier is unbelievably intelligent and loaded so much information into my head! I discovered my love for Asian art because of him and his passion for the subject. He taught me so much that I never knew.
